You're comparing a completely new, and in my opinion, fair compromise with a bunch of other random threads that demonstrate how much people hate guard crits. I feel like uberbench has the right idea here: wouldn't all these threads support the idea of a compromise for guard crits?
Are you disrespecting me? Can we get an admin over here to ban this guy? Why does it matter that I use 4 letter words as if I have to reach a maximum character count for each reply? At this rate, people will think you're trolling o_0
For the first one I have no fucking clue what that is. I literally saw it as a reason for a comm block. Talk to the admin who used this reasoning, not me. Also let's look at the CURRENT rules.
"On the Brazilian servers you may speak Portuguese. "
It says MAY there. I have no clue if it means you...
The ASA literally uses the wiki. Also you ignored all the other sources and derailed this conversation. I'll give you an A for effort and an F for adding nothing of value.
This is about rules and clarity. I never said that as long as it sounds playful it won't go unpunished. Thus you are using a strawman argument. I just said that context and tone should be used to determine intent. I would appreciate if you don't mention my past because I will simply ignore it.
Nice strawman argument. I said that if they're saying it to a friend, then they obviously mean no harm and are just playing around. Thus, they are saying it in a playful manner. I feel like sometimes you just know when someone is being serious or not.
First one is fixed. Second one I got from the comm bans and I didn't understand it either. Third one you can determine intent by tone, phrasing, and context. If someone says "suck my fat cock you moron" in voice chat it sounds bad. But what if they said it towards a friend in a playful manner...
So my suggestion is to just make the rules more clear and a bit more concrete. Something like this:
Do not be offensive to other users
This includes but may not be limited to:
Using racial or homophobic slurs in any context.
Using abusive language (e.g. Go Kill Yourself).
Continuously...
I just see no big reason for why someone like an admin would want to have a private profile. Like, do you have your exact coordinates in there? The more I think about it the more I feel like both sides are wrong, there's no reason to have a public profile and no reason to have a private profile...

Who has punished you?

Why were you punished?
Hahahaha, get this: "player disrespect". Funniest shit I've seen.
Why should we revoke your punishment?
I...
You can still friend people whose profiles are private. Did you really not know that?
Maybe I'm remembering it wrong but there are communities who do require it. Whether or not they are major I do not know.
The block button
No, I wanted to see if them and honey where friends because they're always in the same server. Instead I had to research the forums to see that they have a relationship. Besides, you can still have a public profile and have comments to friends only.
You work for the server...
You quoted me yet didn't even answer my question. What information would you want people to not see. The fact that you have 2,000 hours in TF2?
I didn't know about how having a private profile doesn't notify friend list people. It's a valid reason but wouldn't going invisible do the same exact...
It just makes them look shady. Like what, are you friends with 40 hackers or something? Do you have a stream of -rep in your comments? What would they have on their profile that makes them warrant having a private profile.
