Honestly, nobody noticed the map when i posted the development on my profile, so I thought I'd make a thread about it.
Back in January I started working on a Frotlline-themed Jailbreak map. Back then, I didn't really know what the layout would be, or how anything would look like.
Started out with a tiny Cell Area (+Armory and Medic)
and it just kinda started expanding from there.
Once i added those wooden pillars in Armory corners, I knew what theme i should be going for.
I decided to choose the Frontline Theme, downloaded some assets and added some of them to the map
I decided to use White Brick textures for interactive buildings - Minigames, Armory etc and Brown, Reddish bricks for Uninteractive Buildings etc. Background Detail. (Note: some uninteractive background buildings use white bricks for variety)
(Disco on the right and Jeopardy at the left use white bricks, while building in the back uses reddish bricks 'cause it's just a detail.)
I chose a pretty soothing skybox and lighting for the environment. Really adds some charm.
Now onto the minigames:
Up to the time of writing this, I've finished making:
Obby
Remember when I said "Once i added those wooden pillars in Armory corners, I knew what theme i should be going for."?
Well, Obby was the first minigame to use this kind of Detail
In the end, I think I've made Obby fun but challenging
Here's some details on my favorite obstacles:
The Fan
You need to go on a narrow block, while the Fan slowly pushes you off
The Saws
This one is tricky and hard to do. You basically have 2 blocks you have to jump on and 2 saws that move in 2 directions. You need to time it just right when the blade isn't on the Block, Jump on the blocks and Jump on a safe place. (Yeah i'm pretty bad at explaining)
The Sentry
You've got to run through an open field and try not to get hit by the sentry. After that you've got to make a strafe jump onto a ledge. (If you get hit by the sentry, It can make the strafe difficult.)
You should go the opposite of where the Sentry is looking, so you have more time 'till it shoots you
Deathrun
This minigame uses a different style. I've made it looks like it's an old wooden house.
It consists of 6 traps:
-Barrel Explosion trap (initiated by Blu)
-Fire from Fake Pyros and Huge Pipe (initiated by Blu)
-2 Wooden planks (initiated by Blu, Blu chooses which plank breaks) (Yes that's the one on the screenshot)
-Fake Soldier with a shotgun blasting the red (initiated by Blu)
-3 Pistons squashing the player (initiated by Blu) (Each one activated individually)
-3 Doors (RNG-Generated)
Jeopardy and Disco
Both of them are pretty generic, can't say much about them

-Medic!
-Intruder Alert
-Drunken PipeBomb
Jeopardy:
Music Used:
-Upgrade Station
Theatre
Looks pretty generic compared to other minigames.
Sweeper
(It's The building on right.) [Oh and by the way, this is Town Square 2, That's Stage Chaos on the left, and Diner in the middle.]
Diner
Made it look like a Bar/Cafe kind of ting
Stage Chaos
Stage Chaos has 4 huts. The chosen one by Blu explodes and kills everyone in it.

Some Stuff I should adress:
- @will5023 told me he's up for some testing when the map releases. So when the map releases we're gonna probally test it on the Dev server.
- There's gonna be a big RNG system, opening closed parts of the maps and spawning Easter eggs.
- There's gonna be a secret way for Reds to Insta-win. It is Going inside a PowerPlant and Blowing up a machine, killing everyone on the map.
- There's gonna be Admin-only Minigames such as ︎︎D□︎□︎❍︎⬧︎︎︎⍓︎
- There's probally gonna be jokes about my older maps and inside jokes
