The reserve shooter is not stripped of ammo in JB for the Red Prisoners. It works on soldier, but not sure about Pyro. Fix asap.

Could it be because you have to do something for the glitch to work, or is it not automatically stripped without doing the glitch?

I was rearranging my loadout from the conch to the reserve shooter during the first five seconds of the round, which resulted in the glitch. However, the glitch still persisted between rounds, making me believe its the reserve shooter itself.

ah gotcha. Then maybe its the item switch during the five seconds before the round.
