Please give us your ideal way of punishing players, specific to the server you want to moderate
Unless there is direct proof of that person cheating/griefing ill give that person a ban of first a week than a month than permanent.
If they are like spawntrapping i would kick that person out the server with a warning if they continue to spawntrap ill ban him/her for 3 days.
