I'd actually prefer a dynamic IP myself. Could hack on your servers and an IP ban wouldn't stop me at all.
Also stuff that records my behavious by IP would be outknocked.
Many advantages.
The only disadvantage is if you want to have a server at home of any kind, but who wants that in times of clouds and and cheap VPS anyways.
