What is your type of punishment?
Ban
Where were you banned from? Servers
What is your SteamID? STEAM_0:1:90556345
Who has punished you?
CONSOLE
Why were you punished?
Cheating Infraction: Aimbot
(Literal output: "[Anti-Cheat] Aimbot Detected (SN) | Weapon: tf_weapon_minigun")
Why should we revoke your punishment?
(This is an appeal for my older brother, who was recently banned: DEEZNUTS420 [<--- this is also the user containing the Steam ID included in this appeal)

Yesterday night (U.S. Pacific time) between 10-11 P.M., my brother and I (Kmlp) were playing in this server: ► BlackWonder UK | MVM | x100 Weapons ◄, doing our best to complete a mission of Ghost Town.
In the middle of our round, the console triggered a ban due to an alleged "aimbot"; however, this ban confused both of us and I believe that it may have been a mistake. Please consider the following observations:
•This is the third Blackwonder server that he has visited; there were no problems up until this point.
•I am assuming that "tf_weapon_minigun" refers to the default minigun. With this being said, this ban (and his disconnection) did not occur while he was using the minigun; he was using the Huo Long Heater at the time of his ban. Furthermore, he has been using the Huo Long Heater for approximately 25-35 minutes at this time; it is not a recent switch of weapons.
•Typically, aimbots may be identified due to their rapid twitching and spinning. From his point of view (both when spectating him [while my character was dead] and looking at his actual computer screen, there was no twitching. Additionally, from my point of view (from my account and my own computer), I did not see any twitching either. Furthermore, at some point during the match, he ran out of ammo; thus, when it was time for him to use a shotgun, it is expected for him to fill the kill-feed with shotgun kills; this did not happen (although it takes a long time to kill enemies in Ghost_Town_Kaizo, an aimbot would theoretically "steal" many kills due to the fact that there were less than 6 people in the map and both of our engineers were turtling; nobody else was using blatantly overpowered weapons).
•I inspected my brother's computer (via task manager) to find any sources of cheating software; there was none we can find. However, similar to Steam's problem of "An issue with your computer is blocking the VAC system", I believe that there may be other non-cheating third-party software that may trigger a ban. At the time he was banned, the only third-party software that was interacting with TF2 was a program called "MSI Afterburner". I am not sure what it does other than display a game's CPU usage, frames per second, and other technological details; however, while playing TF2 with him, I do know that MSI Afterburner does not provide aimbots or other cheats; this is evident due to the low frequency of headshots on small robots when he played Sniper.
•Both of us have checked this Steam account's status and found no VAC bans on record.
--------------
Please consider revoking the console's ban, and if you do identify any third-party software that caused this incident, please let me know too.
Thanks!
