I frequent these servers and quite active, so in the event that an issue arises, I'll be able to quickly respond.
I know some of the frequents from Hightower and majority of frequents in VSH, vice-versa. There's no bad blood between us so they're easily able to get into contact with me should any problems come up.

Whenever I have time, which is most days. I'll most likely be online during the weekends. Weekdays can vary.

Please give us your ideal way of punishing players, specific to the servers you want to moderate
Depends on what they do.

>Mute if they've done excessive voice-spam / earrape.
>Gag if inappropriate things have been said in chat.
>Silenced if they've done both mentioned. Any hate speech especially when used in a derogatory manner, and or harrassment to any other players, advertising hacks would result in being silenced or banned if what have been said warrants it.

• Hate speech / harrassment - verbal warning, 1 hour mute/gag/silence, 2 hour mute/gag/silence, 4 hour mute/gag/silence, 8 hour mute/gag/silence, 24 hour mute/gag/silence, 1 day mute/gag/silence, 1 week mute/gag/silence, 1 month mute/gag/silence, 6 month mute/gag/silence, permanent mute/gag/silence
• Advertising hacks - permanent mute/gag/silence

>Spraybanned if inappropriate images/visuals are shown; pornography, hate speeches, etc
>Kick/Slay if they are griefing/ delibrately delaying/ abusing exploits, etc.
>Depending on what the person has done, ban durations can vary. Punishments are in order of first to last offence.

• Excessive use of !calladmin with no purpose - verbal warning, 1 hour ban, 2 hour ban, 4 hour ban, 8 hour ban, 24 hour ban, 1 day ban, 1 week ban, 1 month ban, 6 month ban, permanent ban
• Hacking (with concrete evidence; demo files, recordings) - permanent ban

All repercussions vary depending on which rules have been infracted. These are guidelines I would use in the event that it does happen but the general rule of thumb I follow is - if majority of the players in a server is fine with it, I'll leave it be. Any and all evidence will be collected.

I'm currently moderating a Discord server of 19,000 members, and have been doing so for over 2 years, so I'm familiar with addressing rule breakers in terms of understanding and dealing with varying attitudes.

Hi Jun,

Thanks for your patience. Right off the bat, I can appreciate that you took time to edit your app and flesh out your punish ladder. Extra effort in applications always goes a long way in creating a good impression. I also like that you have a good deal of bonhomie with other regulars on the SG server, and have a good deal of trust baked in already with our playerbase (I'm taking your word on this one).

You do have some old logs that are rather unsavory (slur usage, weird porn references on servers that minors use)- but they're just that: old. I like to give people the benefit of the doubt in these cases; we are raised in societies that are racist and homophobic, and it takes time to unlearn these biases and educate ourselves. I don't think I need to say what will happen if I observe any more graphic porn references or slur usage. Thank you for being amenable to a pfp change to something more appropriate for the kids who play on the server as well.
