Name
Jampoint (I do not want to reveal my real name)

Your Age
14 (Birthday on December 31st)

Location
Las Vegas, Nevada, United States of America

Your SteamID
STEAM_0:0:151402199 - [U:1:302804398]

Have you managed servers previously?
Yes

Which servers have you previously managed?
I’m currently administrating on Flux.tf, a community that should be familiar with Blackwonder.tf.

On what servers do you usually play on?
In Jailbreak servers, I usually play LA and NY Jailbreak. (172.96.160.170:27095 and 206.221.183.218:27060)
In Trade servers, I usually play on Minecraft Trade. (176.57.142.90:27355)
In Dodgeball servers, I usually play Dodgeball NY (206.221.183.218:27215)
In VSH servers, I usually play on VSH UK 24/7 Skyhigh Resort (185.44.76.140:27015)
In Deathrun servers, I play on UK Deathrun (185.44.76.140:27005)

Why would you like to become an admin?
Ever since my last application, I’ve been very unsure about applying again since I was already busy with Flux anyway. When I applied in November, I had very little time on the servers, which explains why admins like Hey ya did not see me on the servers at all. When it was declined, I was in a bit of denial, but I had to agree I didn’t spend much time there anyway.

Jampoint.png

During the time between this application and the previous one, I met more admins and I got to know them better, and I got involved in some of the events in the Steam group. At the same time, my interests in Flux have lowered as the players in the servers decreased and more problems arose with the community. I thought when the summer hit, Flux would just be as popular as it was when I applied there last year or even more popular. Sadly, it is not. I don’t know what to do with it at this point.
I still wanted to administrate a community or at least help one. On BlackWonder, there were some servers I joined where an admin wasn’t able to come onto the servers. I also saw that reports are posted daily. There are times where it piles up until it has to fit on 2-3 pages. Due to the extra time I have, and now that my time at Flux isn’t needed as much anymore, I wanted to offer my help as an admin on these servers.

Do you know and have spoken to any of the current staff members?
Yes

If you do know and have spoken to any staff members, please tell us their names

I don’t know about adding anyone else, as I may have only talked to them once or twice, or I don’t know them too well.

When are you usually available to play? My time zone is the Pacific Time Zone. I am still unsure about my new schedule on school days when I go to high school, but on break days, I can be available from 5:00 A.M. to 11:00 P.M.

Please give us your ideal way of punishing players, specific to the game modes you play
General - Jailbreak - Trade - Dodgeball - VSH/FF2* - Deathrun - Deathmatch**
Cheater(Any scripts) - I would record a demo of the cheater, then permanently ban the player. The demo would be attached to Sourcebans soon after. If necessary, I can ask another admin to review the demo.
Different language in mic - A warning should be given > 1 hour mute > 2 hour mute > 6 hour mute.
Spam in mic/chat - A warning should be given > 2 hour comm block > 6 hour comm block > 12 hour comm block > 1 day comm block.
Racist/homophobic remarks in mic/chat - A warning should be given > 12 hour comm block > 1 day comm block > 3 day comm block > 1 week comm block.
Admin/Player Disrespect - A warning should be given > 2 hour comm block > 4 hour comm block > 12 hour comm block > 1 day comm block.
Abused !calladmin - 1 day ban > 2 day ban > 4 day ban > 1 week ban > 2 week ban.
Advertising hacks - A warning should be given, then a permanent comm block.
Immature voice - Warning > 1 hour mute > 2 hour mute > 6 hour mute.
Inappropriate content - A warning should be given to change the content (Depending on if it is a spray, a conscientious objector, or a profile picture) > Kick > 1 hour ban.
Calling out Undercover admin - 2 hour comm block > 6 hour comm block > 12 hour comm block > 1 day comm block.
Exploiting - Warning > Slay > 1 day ban > 2 day ban > 4 day ban > 1 week ban.
Mass Freekill - 1 week ban > 2 week ban > 1 month ban > Permanent teamban.
Constant baiting - Warning > Slay > 2 hour teamban > 6 hour teamban > 12 hour teamban.
Armoury camping(Or camping in another area) - Warning > Slay > 12 hour teamban > 1 day teamban.
Unactive guard(Away from warden/reds) - Warning > Slay > 12 hour teamban > 1 day teamban
Unactive guard(AFK) - Should be kicked from the server.
No mic on Blu - A permanent teamban. If they do end up having a mic, I can unteamban them.
Bad mic on Blu - I would ask them to go on Red, and if not, a small teamban should be appropriate. If necessary, I can give out a mute.
Talking over Warden - Warning > 2 hour mute > 6 hour mute > 12 hour mute > 1 day mute.
Delaying Round(Jailbreak) - Warning > Slay > 2 hour ban > 6 hour ban > 12 hour ban > 1 day ban.
Ghosting(Jailbreak) - 2 hour comm block > 6 hour comm block > 12 hour comm block > 1 day comm block.
Freekill Orders - 1 day teamban > 2 day teamban > 4 day teamban > 1 week teamban.
Sticky Trapping - A warning is given > Slay > 12 hour teamban > 1 day teamban.
Disguising - A warning is given > Slay > 12 hour teamban > 1 day teamban.
Griefing - 1 day teamban > 2 day teamban > 4 day teamban > 1 week teamban.
Favoritism - Warning > Slay > 12 hour teamban > 1 day teamban.
Lying Warden - Warning > Slay > 12 hour teamban > 1 day teamban.
Warden Hogging - The warden will be slayed and warned > 12 hour teamban > 1 day teamban.
Teamkilling - 1 day teamban > 2 day teamban > 4 day teamban > 1 week teamban.
False Friendly fire - (Depending on context) 1 day teamban > 2 day teamban > 4 day teamban > 1 week teamban.
Freehitting - Warning > Slay > 12 hour teamban > 1 day teamban.
Tricky/Conflicting Orders - Warning > Slay > 1 day teamban.
Freeday abuse(Blocking, ruining minigames, etc.) - A warning may be given. If needed, I can slay them as well.
Banned minigame/day - Warning > Slay > 1 day teamban.
Scamming/Sharking - Screenshots or a demo should be provided, then a permanent ban.
Random Trading - Warning > Kick > 2 hour ban > 6 hour ban > 12 hour ban > 1 day ban.
Begging - Warning > 2 hour comm block > 6 hour comm block > 12 hour comm block > 1 day comm block.
Stealing rockets - Warning > Kick> 1 day ban > 2 day ban > 4 day ban.
Blocking - Warning > Kick> 1 day ban > 2 day ban > 4 day ban.
Delaying rocket - Warning > Slay > 1 hour ban > 2 hour ban > 6 hour ban.
Camping - A warning is given, then a slay. If continued, a 1 day ban.
Delaying round(VSH/FF2) - Warning > Slay > 2 hour ban > 6 hour ban > 12 hour ban > 1 day ban.
Friendly person/Hale - Warning > 1 day ban > 2 day ban > 4 day ban > 1 week ban.
Ghosting(VSH/FF2) - 2 hour comm block > 6 hour comm block > 12 hour comm block > 1 day comm block.
Suiciding as hale - The player would be warned. I would also recommend to them using /vshtoggle. If continued, a day ban.
AFK Hale - The player would be kicked from the server and reminded of /vshtoggle.
Ghosting(Deathrun) - 2 hour comm block > 6 hour comm block > 12 hour comm block > 1 day comm block.
Delaying Round(Deathrun) - Warning > Slay > 2 hour ban > 6 hour ban > 12 hour ban > 1 day ban.
Fake Freerun - The death would be slayed. If done again, a 1 hour ban.
Suiciding as Death - The player would be warned and reminded that /drtoggle is there > 12 hour ban > 1 day ban > 2 day ban > 4 day ban.
AFK Death - The player would be kicked from the server and reminded of /drtoggle.
Spawncamping - A warning is given > 1 day ban > 2 day ban > 4 day ban > 1 week ban.

I’m sorry if some of my punishments aren’t exactly correct, or if they feel a bit repetitive. I am willing to fix any mistake made in the punishments, just in case if I do become an admin. I wouldn’t want to give a too harsh or too lenient punishment.

Whenever I put down “comm block” on the punishment, this means that the punishment can alter between the 3 types of comm blocks; gags, mutes, and silences. Depending on the situation at hand, I will either mute, gag, or silence the rulebreaker.

*Some events that can be considered against the rules may not be. I’m saying this based off of the extended rule list of VSH/FF2.

**I understand that Deathmatch can include multiple gamemodes, such as UberUpgrades. I also understand that this does not include Trade servers.

Is there any other information you would like us to know about?
I used to be banned on Degree Gaming, but due to their latest decision to wipe out almost all the bans this past week, I was unbanned and given a second chance.

Previous Admin Application

Change Log:
Edit 1: Added Change log, added colors and links, fixed formatting issues, added a screenshot from my previous application, and fixed a few mistakes in the punishments.
Edit 2: Major changes to the Punishment List. Fixed mistakes in the last list, extended some punishments, and added scaled punishments. Removed 3rd statement in the Punishment List.
Edit 3: Removed Degree Gaming ban link and edited statement.

I checked your playtimes in the past week for your "usual" servers then checked when and how often you had been connecting to them.

You haven't touched NY JB in nearly two weeks.
You've played minecraft trade once in the past two weeks.
You've played NY DB for 23 minutes in the past week, including an 18 minute session so far today.
You've played Sky High for about an hour and a half in the past two weeks.
You've played UK Deathrun for a little over a half hour in the past week.

Why you listed those as usual servers is confusing and extremely concerning given you were declined last time mainly for a lack of server activity.

Flux isn't dead but you giving the impression that it is so you are justified to jump ship onto us isn't as comforting as you'd think.

Your punishments are extremely disappointing given you only listed the first and second punishment at most for all of them.

Why write down
Whenever I put down “comm block” on the punishment, this means that the punishment can alter between the 3 types of comm blocks; gags, mutes, and silences. Depending on the situation at hand, I will either mute, gag, or silence the rulebreaker.
instead of just saying what kind of comm block you use for each comm punishment?

Punishments may be extended if there are previous punishments on the user. It can be multiplied 2 or more times based off of those punishments. At a certain number of these punishments, the player may be permanently punished.
What is this certain number of punishments we perm at? I wasn't aware that's how it works here. How do you scale on prior punishments? Is it just perm punishment type? Is it tallying all of them at once and "multiplying by two" the latest one?

This one is more of a me thing, but I want to point everything relevant out~

That doesn't seem like you're very confident in your own punishments. You should feel more than secure in how you punish people from your prior experience, and the work of admins you've seen here at Blackwonder. I'll point out you also copy pasted some of the punishments from your last app here.

The Degree Gaming nonsense is irrelevant as far as your app goes, it was looked at last time and we didn't think you really did anything worth taking away from your app.

Overall, I'm disappointed. You are nice and fun in discord and in game and draw good art when it's not of me being a furry; Your playtimes which were the biggest thing last time are better but spending 20 minutes a week on a "usual" server and not visiting other "usual" servers for over two weeks aren't really servers you should be listing there. This app is just your last app with some updates here and there. You had an enormous opportunity to basically secure an acceptance if you had solidified those two things.

TLDR;

You're active in discord and a good human but you shot yourself in the foot with your playtime and not taking advantage of writing a much better app. (All of this IMO ofc).

EDIT: Jammy pointed out to me the dates are a few days off. Very important.

TFStats has not been recording my times nor my chat logs for the last few days when you posted this response. I do still play on these usual servers. As for Flux, I didn't say it was dead, but I did say that Flux isn't as popular as it was when I got accepted there last year, and my interests with the community has lowered as problems began showing.

Whenever I say comm block, I mean that the offense is possible on both chat and mic. When it is only possible for one of them, I just say whether it is a mute or a gag. The certain number that I mention is not an exact number and depends on previous offenses. For example, it may take less punishments for an offense that is longer, such as mass freekill. I scale previous punishments based on the current offense and previous punishments. It's mostly dependent on the types of offenses, the times, and how many there are. If it's recommended to add scaled punishments to each offense instead of the note I put, I can add the scaled punishments.

I still have a lot of confidence in my punishments, but I'll stay open with it. I can't always rely on Flux admin experience, as some punishments there are too weak for BlackWonder punishments. I copy pasted some of my previous punishments from my last application as I didn't get much criticism for my punishments, but I do agree that the format for the punishments is the same.

For me mentioning Degree Gaming, it is still relevant. Some admins or other people may not be aware of me mentioning my ban in my last application.

I've taken some of the criticism from Jim and I have fixed the punishments. I've also fixed a few things that were bothering me a bit and/or contradicted what I've said.

I'm gonna keep this short.

So far i think jam is a nice and friendly person,
She knows the rules, her application seems pretty nice (keep in mind i only read everything that is not jailbreak and DR related)
Also, i remember from her last application, i asked her in voice chat about some tricky VSH questions and she answered all of them correctly, just a reminder.

Me and alex had a discussion about her the other day and i think she would be worth a shot.

I personally think that she didn't just "Jump the ship" in a negative way, as she has complained to me so many times about how things aren't working out in flux, even tho she did try to keep it together.
It's just how noodl wants to run his community so... no one can say anything about it really, it's his community.

And i would assume her activity would skyrocket as soon as she gets accepted, or so that's what me and alex expect.

Other than that i think she is good enough for a +support
Good luck!

You haven't really shown me that you care enough and just shrug me off because I'm Jim. You haven't really improved much more than your app which you pretty much had to be asked to change. My biggest issue with you as an admin is that you refuse to figure things out on your own and insist on dumping your problems on other people to fix for you. You lack the initiative that a Blackwonder admin needs.

Your application looks fine to me and you're as active as you can be on the discord, forums, and in-game, you seem like a nice person and with your past experience administrating servers, I'd expect you'd know how to handle things fairly well. Overall, I think you'd make a good admin so it's a
+support from me, good luck Jampoint. :)

Hello, girl gamer.
I have postponed this reply for so long and I think now is the best time before it's too late.

So recently you have been having issues at flux with the admin team and how Noodl is running it and you come to some blw admins and start complaining about it to us. I bring this up because I'm not sure if you are only doing this because you have no one to talk to about this and if it will continue if you became an admin. Also, what will happen with you and flux if you became an admin here? Will you just continue stressing yourself out over the way Noodl is running it or will you resign when you get accepted? In my honest opinion, I think you will continue being an admin at Flux and whatever drama happens there you will bring it over to Blackwonder. I do believe that if you did become an admin here your activity will go up, but if you got declined, will you just stop your activity at Blackwonder? Honestly, I'm worried on what will happen with you and flux if you got accepted here.

I started this whole thing when I didn't know what to do when the issues occurred, because I started off with asking for advice to try to fix the issues, which then led to finding out more issues and then complaining. I started asking here since the admins at Flux were either inactive, not helpful, or not willing to talk about how the issues should be solved, and I knew I could ask since I believed with the admins here, they were experienced and/or probably knew what to do.

Either way, if I get accepted or not, I will probably resign from Flux. When I got declined last year, my low activity went down to no activity since to me, there was no reason to apply to another community or spend time when the one I was at was good enough at the time. If I do get declined again, this will not be the case, since I won't be majorly involved with another community unlike last time.

Hello Jampoint!

Although there was some slight contentious (albeit constructive) dialogue over your app, I believe you time on blw servers as shown you to have the potential to be a positive asset to the team. While I would never publicly advocate the the exodus from any other community, I would support your comment above, that moving on may be the best thing for you. Based on conversation we have had. I'll be sending you a message on discord soon. Congrats!
