What is Jailbreak?
Jailbreak is a game mode where a Warden is selected from the Blue team. He/She gives orders through voice chat to the prisoners (Red team), who must follow them precisely. The orders given should allow for the round to eventually have only one player left on the Red team; the winner. This player receives a "Last Request", which grants benefits and/or player agency for the next round.
Rules of Jailbreak:
Everyone:
All general rules mentioned on the rule page are still applicable. Breaking these rules can get you gagged/muted or banned.
No talking over Admin during a mic check! Breaking this rule can get you muted.
No talking over Warden! Breaking this rule can get you muted.
No armory camping: You cannot stay in the armory for a prolonged period of time.
No delaying: You cannot hide or stay inactive with the intent to purposely stall the game.
No ghosting: You cannot give information about alive players while dead. Examples can include giving them answers in quiz games, or telling people where a player is. (Unless they are delaying.) Breaking this rule can get you gagged/muted.
No continuously calling out a false accusation: You cannot repeatedly keep saying “freekill” when it was clearly not. Breaking this rule can get you gagged/muted.
No Last Requests or orders where prisoners are forced to move themselves awkwardly or in a way that makes certain minigames impossible: For example: "360 day" , "look up day", etc. as these prevent prisoners from following orders correctly.
Healing with a Medi Gun is AFK frozen: Since there is an option to turn on healing without continuously pressing "Mouse1", healing players with the Medi Gun is considered to be AFK frozen.
Red Team: Breaking these rules can get you killed by Blue team.
No detouring/delaying: When an order is given, you must take the shortest and fastest route.
No Blue control rooms or armory: Going into off limit places, or trying to reach these places by hitting breakable objects makes you a rebel.
No ammo: The moment you have ammo, you are considered to be rebelling.
No baiting: Getting in melee range of a guard/Warden on purpose on a freeday.
No lethal taunts: Doing a taunt that can kill other players will make you kos.
No force-baiting: Getting in melee range of a guard/Warden on purpose to hit them and calling it baiting. If you go out of your route to be in their range and you are the one running into them, then you are force-baiting.
No griefing: During a personal freeday, you may not get into melee range of the Blue team for no reason, trap Blues by bodyblocking, activate minigames (Death Run, Fall Game, 9Square, ...) or do anything that could put non-freeday members of the Red team in danger such as closing a door on them, activating a minigame while they are inside or pushing them away from their destination when collisions are on.
No cheating: When ordered to do "Obstacle Course", "Death Run" or "Minefield" for example, do not go to the exit of the game and claim to have completed the game.
Being a smartass might get you killed. You can try, but if you get killed, don't whine about it.
Blue Team: Breaking these rules can get you banned.
Have a good microphone: You are required to use your mic on the Blue team. You also can't be on the Blue team if your voice is incomprehensible.
No freekilling: You cannot kill prisoners for no reason. If you do, slay yourself, otherwise you risk a teamban. Even if a prisoner has received and chosen LR, it is forbidden to kill them unless they rebel.
No killing freedays: If a freeday has not rebelled and has lasted until the end of the round, do not kill them, regardless of whether or not they've lost their invincibility upon an LR being given.
No freehitting: You cannot hit a prisoner for no reason. Let the victim go to Medic if you did, but be sure to get the Warden's permission first.
No baiting: You cannot provoke prisoners to attack you or rebel by getting in melee range of a prisoner on purpose, using projectiles, Jarate, Stickybombs, revving the Minigun, airblasting them, joining them in the minigame or anything else that can be considered provocative. If you do get into melee range of the prisoner or inside the minigame, you can’t defend yourself when they attack you. If you do kill a prisoner while baiting, you are freekilling. prisoners can’t chase you down if you step away on time but you can’t kill them for attacking you when you were baiting.
No force-baiting: Getting in melee range of a prisoner on a freeday on purpose to kill them and say they were baiting.
No team killing: Killing your teammates without first being provoked.
No disguising on Blue team: If you have disguised using Your Eternal Reward or the Wanga Prick, remove it immediately.
No griefing: Activating buttons without the Warden’s approval (ex. Death Run, minigames, cell doors, breaking breakables, etc.)
Ignore freekill orders from Warden: If you participate in a freekilling spree then you can get banned. Ignore the Warden's orders if he is telling you to freekill. Tell him about the rules and if he starts team killing for ignoring an invalid order, then report him in.
No favouritism: Favouritism is the act of giving a single RED a benefit over other RED's (i.e. allowing them to rebel, letting them into armoury, etc) and makes the guard and prisoners involved KOS.
Warden: Breaking these rules will get you banned.
No kill orders: You can’t ask prisoners to kill guards.
No illegal friendly fire: Turning FF on without a reason or during a freeday.
No tricky orders: Your orders have to be clear. For example, you cannot say “All deads go to the yellow line.” but you can say “All Reds don’t go to the yellow line”. Don’t give orders that can be misinterpreted if just a single letter is not heard.
No freekill orders: You cannot order guards to kill prisoners for no reason or have them battle prisoners such as the minigames "Shark" and "Gladiator", which are banned.
Maximum of 3 rounds of the same minigame in a row: After that you must not do that game for at least a round.
Giving "Last Request": When the last prisoner has survived by following the orders, for example winning a minigame that eliminated the other prisoners, you have to give this person his/her "Last Request". You can’t give a rebel or a freeday "Last Request" but you can ask the last prisoner to finish the game they are playing to get their "Last Request".
Repeat your orders a second time: You must give a repeat if asked for or if you were being talked over. You only have to give out one repeat if asked for but nobody can talk over you. You mention to the players you will be giving out a repeat and anyone talking over your orders will be Kill-On-Sight. Your final repeat is when nobody has talked over your orders.
Be willing to play warden: Don’t get on the Blue Team if you don’t want to be Warden, you can only do !uw to "unwarden" if you have been Warden in the last 3 rounds. You have to give out real orders every other time you are Warden. You also can’t give random freedays when you go Warden.
Meat grinder may not be played as the first minigame in a round. Rather, use it as a decider when there are fewer prisoners left after a different minigame. Cell wars does not count as a minigame for this rule.
No renaming: You cannot rename Reds to something different, only address them as “Reds” or “prisoners”.
Guards:
Stay with the Warden all times: Unless ordered otherwise by Warden or chasing a rebel.
"Last Guard kills all": If you are the last guard, not Warden, then you can kill all prisoners. Be sure to check with !w that it’s locked. You can’t do !uw in order to claim “Last Guard kills all.”
Definitions:
AFK freeze: No moving, no usage of mouse, and no taunting.
No free looking: No usage of mouse; you must keep looking in one direction.
Taunt freeze: The same as AFK freeze but you can use non-lethal and non-moving taunts.
Meat Grinder: Game where prisoners fight amongst themselves in a cramped area.
Out Of Cell Rebel Day: All prisoners must stay in the cells until Warden says the day is over.
Lava day: All prisoners must not be touching the ground until the Warden says the day is over.
Crouch day: All prisoners must be crouching at all times until the Warden says the day is over.
Cell Wars: Warden has to announce he will be doing Cell Wars where prisoners have to kill all their cell mates. This is only allowed if you have 4 players on the Blue team or less.
Hunger Games: All prisoners must kill each other to earn the "Last Request". This minigame has to be announced at the start of the round. The minigame must be announced at the start of the round and cannot be played two rounds in a row. Warden decides where guards and reds go and this cannot be chosen by a red in the LR.
Hide & Seek: All prisoners must hide. Blues must stay in armory until a time specified by the Warden. The last prisoner alive wins "Last Request". The minigame must be announced at the start of the round and cannot be played two rounds in a row.
War day: All Blues go to one specific place when they announce when the day is starting, all prisoners have to get ammo and try killing Blues. The Blues can leave their place at a time specified by the Warden at the start of the round. "Last Request" can not be earned. The minigame must be announced at the start of the round and cannot be played two rounds in a row.
Pokémon: Two guards each pick a team of max 4 players per team and it has to be equal. You cannot play Pokémon when there are more than 8 prisoners alive due to it being time consuming and you cannot play this when there is an uneven number of prisoners as it will be unfair. Each round, two prisoners fight to the death. The one prisoner that remains has a chance to heal up and returns to his team. After every prisoner has fought, you start round two with equal teams again and everyone on full health. If teams are not equal, for example 2 prisoners on Team A and 1 prisoner on Team B, then the 3 prisoners have to fight each other at the same time. Last prisoner alive wins "Last Request".
Theatre: A maximum of 8 Reds will be given the option of “hat, joke, spray or taunt” and the guards must vote in team chat whether to allow the prisoners to pass or be killed. The Warden can not decide alone; if there is only the Warden alive on the Blue team, then theatre can not be played.
Kitchen: A maximum of 8 Reds will be given the chance to offer the Warden a meal. The Blues will then vote on whether it is a delicious meal or not. The Warden can not decide alone, and if there is only the Warden alive on Blue team, then kitchen may not be played.
Jeopardy: Prisoners should each take a podium. The Warden will then stand at his podium and ask a question. If a prisoner knows the answer, they will press their buzzer and give their answer. If they are wrong, they are killed. If they are correct, they may choose from the remaining prisoners and decide who will die. This game may only be played if the amount of prisoners is equal to or less than the amount of podiums on the current map.
Banned minigames: "Shark", "Gladiator", "Shoot or Don't Shoot".
Banned days: "Bad Luck Day" and "Trust Day", "360 Day", "Look up Day".
