Answered go to another player's POV in a demo

I use lawena, recorded some demos using console commands, (record name, stop) and want to go into another person's POV in a demo.
How could I do this? Thanks.

as far as I'm aware, this isn't possible unless the demo is recorded from that person's perspective.

How could I do that? I see some demos in the report section of the forums that allows the demo to be seen from the cheater's POV

You can go into spectator and record them. You can use sm_speclist_hideme in console to hide yourself from the spectator list.

) , and look at the bottom left and click the person you want to spec. i dont think any command will work but you can just use screen recorder

I doubt anyone really needs replays. Demos are flexible and small enough as-is, the only thing they can't really do that I know of is shifting POVs. You can freecam, but you cannot lock the camera into someone's POV unless you're spectating them when you record the demo.

Replays are pretty broken as is.
