Have you managed servers previously? No

On what servers do you usually play on and which one would you like to moderate?
I play and would like to moderate Minecraft World BR, as it's where I spend most of my time on.

Why would you like to become a moderator?
I would like to become a moderator to help out the community. The brazilian Blackwonder servers that I have played lack any form of staff and moderation, I have seen people mic spamming, spurting out racial slurs in chat and nothing was done about it.

Do you know and have spoken to any of the current staff members? Yes

Please let us know the names of staff members you have spoken to or know
H30NX

When are you usually available to play?
I am available mostly all day, from 8am to Midnight on the GMT-3 time zone. I can and usually do spent even more time playing because of quarentine.

Please give us your ideal way of punishing players, specific to the server you want to moderate
If I found someone hacking/cheating, I would get evidence of them actually cheating and then proceed to ban them.

For players spamming the chat/mic, I would warn them firstly, and if they proceeded to continue after being warned, I would gag/mute them for 30 minutes to 1 hour, depending on their willingness to cooperate. If they continued even after that, I would give them an even longer gag/mute

For vulgar and offensive racial slurs, I would issue the player a kick, and if they continued I would give them a temporary ban.

For harmful bug exploiters, I would warn them, and if they continued, I'd give them a temporary team ban so they wouldn't be able to join the teams.

I find that it is always a good option to warn the person first, as I always like to discuss with the person instead of immediately banning or muting them. But I understand there will be exceptions to this.

Is there any other information you would like us to know about?
I created this forum account after I got tired of all the mic and chat spamming in the server I play in, some players got into a fight on the server and started calling each other some racial slurs. A few days ago a player got bullied into leaving the server and threatened by a group of trolls.

I may not have been a moderator in TF2 before this, but I used to be an admin for 3 years in a Minecraft building server before it shut down. Those 3 years have taught me quite a lot on how to moderate and manage servers, even if they aren't TF2 servers.

Are you proficient in languages other than English? Yes

Are you proficient in languages other than English? Being born in the US and since then moving to Brazil, I am fluent in both English and Portugues. I also know Spanish very well, since we had to learn it at school in both countries.

Hi ELVEN,
Thought I'd drop my thoughts about your application here.
I have played with you a good amount on the Blackwonder US Trade Minecraft Server, and you do not strike me as someone who would be a problem to deal with. Overall, I have had good interactions with you on the community servers.

Using the Steam ID you provided to us, nothing came up for priors on both communications and bans, so that's good to see.

A few things about your punishments however. Punishments usually start off at 1 hour, and then progressively increase over time based on the amount of times someone has broken said rules. How would you go about punishing those who have already received a stage one punishment, as in what would your other stages be in your punishment ladder? Feel free to review past accepted applications to gain some inspiration on your own punishment ladder.

Thanks for replying and the insight.
As per your question as how I would punish after the stage one punished (1 hour), I would follow the ladder stated below, depending on which rule was broken, until they got permanently punished.

Hacking:
As stated in my original post, I would collect evidence and issue a permanent ban.

Mic/Chat Spam:
1 hour gag/mute > 3 hours > 1 day > 3 days > 1 week > 1 month > Permanent gag/mute.

Racism:
Kick + 1 day mute > 1 week ban > 1 month > Permanent gag/mute.

Bug Exploiting:
1 day ban > 2 day ban > 1 week ban > 2 week ban.

Advertising hacks/cheats:
Permanent silence

Graphic spray/objector:
Spray ban

Kick + 1 day mute > 1 week ban > 1 month > Permanent gag/mute.

From first glance your ladder is too harsh. This system is designed to punish users fairly in hopes that they learn from their mistakes. I suggest looking at some of the accepted applications as a reference.
