Powerplay in itself is an overpowered roll to get, with Uber and Crits alone. But adding on top the fact that you can capture the controlpoints and you have knockback immunity from airblasts, makes it extreamly unfair and unfun to play against. The ammount of times, you feel like your team is going to defend with an amazing defense... only for a powerplay to roll up and capture with you being able to do nothing but try to block by standing on the point, which doesn't work for very long.

TL;DR IMO, Powerplay with the Uber and Crits (eh, even the airblast immunity) is alright. But being able to capture is not. You can't capture while ubered normally anyways. I think that Powerplay should make it so you can't capture, much like normal uber does.
Others might disagree and say powerplay as a whole is flawed, but I think that with the capturing disabled it would make it better.

Of course powerplay is ridiculous and over-the-top. That's the point. Players likely have to spend half an hour getting killed, their guns stolen, or incapacitated to actually roll it, it's the capstone RTD. As for the topic at hand, losing a round because someone single-handedly massacred the entire enemy team 2 times over but couldn't make any progress on the point is just silly. Most situations I've seen powerplay rolled in objective play either had the individual relying on the assistance of his team to actually secure the point, or the other team stalling out the "juggernaut" either by body blocking it or contesting the point and preventing sufficient capture progress before the duration expires. Which brings up the other problem with using powerplay objectively: it is SLOW.

That knockback immunity applies to yourself as well. Unless you're a scout or a TT pyro/demoknight, Good luck getting anywhere quickly enough to matter.
And yes, an offensive powerplay can feel really unsatisfying to be rolled by, but what about the reverse situation? An flawless offensive push can just as easily be turned back by a Soldier walking out of spawn and gaining invincibility for 25 seconds.

Yes, but you can always shut off the uber if you absolutely have to make capture progress. Powerplay doesn't have that option without completely disabling it by switching class (and even THAT doesn't work in every game type).

Imo I believe that is what should be implemented instead of this suggestion.
