After using coinflip (and subsequently losing a few thousand), I noticed that the odds don't seem to be in your favor. Any time you bet N credits, you either win N/2 credits, or you lose N credits. You have a 50/50 chance of winning or losing (whether you pick heads or tails has no effect on your chances). Therefore, on average, you always lose credits. Is this intentional?

You get back the N credits you bet + the N/2 credits you've won. So it's not a loss. Gaining in coinflip is 2/1 which means you have to win twice to compensate for one loss.
