Resolved Can't add password/resetpassword

So I went to my PFP to change my email and it says "Your email cannot be changed while your account does not have a password" so I went to the "Password and security" to add my password I did everything it said and once I went to my email to reset password it said "Your action could not be confirmed. Please request a new confirmation"
