That's a shame. The only workaround I can think of at this time is to keep typing 'retry' into the developer console until it starts working properly. Other than that, I'm at a loss on how to help you.
Through a quick Google search because I'm lazy, it has something to do with receiving too much data. Verify your game files from Steam (right click Team Fortress 2 > Properties > Game Files > Verify Integrity) and try joining once that's all done and dusted. It's worked for me so far.

This doesn't only apply to freedays. It can happen with any RED (usually when picking up a weapon without ammo that gets traded out for a weapon already without ammo) and, by extension, BLUs.
You shouldn't even be picking up the weapon anyway as having any ammo type without losing your freeday...

I was the one who gave you your current sprayban. Show this appeal to any admin you come across on the server and have them unsprayban you. If you're caught again, you'll just be permanently spraybanned without the option to appeal.
This naming pattern is a little odd, seeing as you're renaming yourself to common Jailbreak players and adding a small dot so that there isn't a (1) by your name when you rename yourself to someone who is already on the same server as you.
