Why would you like to become a moderator?
Since I live in a different time zone and play when most admin/mods aren't on during that time. There is a huge amount of trolls/rulebreakers/donation perm abuser ruining the game continuously during those time. And I wish to deal with those type of players; I know the rules very well. I just want to make a fun place where people can have fun during different time zones.

3~4 times a week (average).

Please give us your ideal way of punishing players, specific to the servers you want to moderate
My ideal way would be to just warn the players first if they actually didn't know rules. I'll be giving them light punishment (only to new players). And give the repeated offender a hard punishment. However, if there is a rulebook about punishing people, I'll just follow that rulebook.

I'd like to moderate the Jailbreak server.

Just a quick question. About the punishment part, wouldn't you guys provide a rulebook about punishment? Otherwise, the punishment for same rule break will be different from person to person (if each mods has a different way of punishing, the amount of ban/mute time will be different). I was never mods in other games but I was close with few mods in different games and they a had a rulebook for punishment.

Also, Chris did say the illegal ff was a misunderstanding and he said it was accidental (due to bad web design), you were in a call if you remember. I thought I was let go of that punishment? Or am I misunderstanding?

Yes a general punishment ladder are available for staff which we follow.

Kinda repeating what sera said though,
Personalized punishment ladders in staff applications aren't required but highly encouraged from applicants with zero prior tf2 community moderating experience because it shows us that you have a very precise understanding of our rules including gamemode specific rules (especially JB with of how complicated the gamemode is). If you want context you are welcome to check some accepted prior moderator applications though keep in mind that plagiarism isn't tolerated.
