Apparently expressing my opinion that a lack of an information / rules channel in the discord is grounds for a ban. Not to mention unspoken rules being imposed on me as a new member who is unaware of any rules in the first place due to lack of rule accessibility.
Why should we revoke your punishment?
I'll be honest, if you expect someone to follow rules for the Discord server and they aren't easily accessible in the Discord server, then you're setting up everyone to fail. Users should not be expected to seek out the rules if they can't find them. They should be right in front of the users in the first place. This isn't even a difficult thing to do, its as easy as copy and pasting the rules from the website into a channel that acts as a landing page for all users when joining the discord. Almost every discord server has some form of rules channel, the fact that this server and its admins expect players to find the rules by digging through forums and such is ridiculous, hence my discussion with an admin on this topic in the first place and hence my ban. Because I couldn't follow some unspoken rule and because there wasn't even a link to them back then. I'm happy to follow the rules but just because I pointed out what I considered a flaw in the way things were setup shouldn't be grounds to ban me for it.
