Completed Removing/Whitelisting the Dead Ringer/Eureka Effect/Mann Treads from all MGE Servers

The Dead Ringer should be banned from MGE because it completely breaks the game. If a player is on the same team color and friendly disguises as an individual (ie: targets/singles them out) it can completely ruin the game and tank their elo. When the Dead Ringer triggers, it will reset said individual (who the spy is disguised as) and give a point to the opposing player. If player A is a Spy, and players B and C are playing each-other: player A can disguise as B, trigger the Dead Ringer and player C will be awarded a point, and the round will reset with player B going to one of the spawn locations.

The Eureka Effect should also be banned. You can use it's teleportation effect to go into the spawn area that MGE maps set aside. You can then build a Sentry, and other buildings, and kill players that you're not directly facing and gives their opposing player a point. Even if it doesn't kill them, it will severely weaken them to the point of no competition.

The Mann Treads is another weapon that should be banned. Not only does it make Endif unplayable, but it allows the player to have an advantage by never losing momentum. This opens up the potential for easy Market Gardener hits followed by a rocket and a free kill. That as an extreme aside, airshots mean close to nothing as they can move however they please in the air and never get juggled.

Added a poll. Eureka effect and dead ringer seem reasonable but I don't personally think the mann treads should be banned because they give a player an advantage. That's why you use certain weapons over others??

What do you mean, remove it? In my humble opinion, I believe that picking spy is a backstab battle at best, so, even picking spy in an mge outside of a duel is a very large disadvantage. The dead ringer can only do so much- and it's biggest downside is not being able to, you know, recharge it at will or use a cloak. Just as the dead ringer being unbanned from comp due to spy being an overall weak class, this shouldn't be removed because spy being an overall weak class. It isn't the "get out of jail free" item it used to be. It's mediocre at best. Beating the DR dead horse is a oldie now. It isn't viable in any shape or form. It's just annoying. But so is any other weapon in the game. There are times where some weapons feel unbalanced or unfun, but it's ok. We've all been there.

Well then it's an issue with the server not the weapon. It's best to fix the glitch then outright ban it.

On servers with class bans, weapon whitelists, or/and source mod plugins, these types of exploit would not be possible. Topics like these shouldn't be up on the suggestion board anyways, it should be reported as exploit/bug instead and fixed asap.
