Alleged gaslighting and toxic behavior

In this appeal, I'll be addressing several penal actions taken against me in the last several days. I will provide dates and administrator names as necessary, so I hope I will be afforded the opportunity to address them all at once rather than three separate appeals.
I was reported by a user by the name Gold Emperor of pankind on 7/17. He provided clips and testimony alleging that I was harassing/bullying other blackwonder server users. All those clips are, however, out of context. Not shown in the clips is Gold Emperor's own toxicity and blatant baiting in vc, where he himself is shouting slurs and insults toward me and other players. This doesn't necessarily make what I said okay, but I feel it is only natural that someone might lose their temper over someone behaving as Gold Emperor was. Remarkably, none of his own dialogue is captured in the audio. However, I know of several users present that game who could attest to the fact that he was escalating the situation, causing me to lose my cool. He himself even apologized later that game when him and I were reconciling, but this wasn't included in the clips provided.
I would certainly like to apologize considering that my behavior in the clips is unacceptable, but the clips show maybe 30 seconds of a 2+ hour game and only one side of the conversation. I certainly think a warning or perhaps a temporary mute until I could have calmed down may have been appropriate. However, I feel that a permanent mute is a bit out of proportion to my actions that game.
There was also a permanent gag placed on me as punishment for the same game. The gag was initiated by Wanka. The reasoning for the ban was that "all they (meaning me) do is spam binds and goad people into arguing with them". There are then two pictures shown of instances of me using text chat.
In the first instance, the person I am addressing was a user on an account named Epicnator. The user in question was harassing a kid who was using voice chat, named Coop, and telling the kid they should kill themselves. In trying to defend Coop, I admittedly got a little worked up and delved into insults and topics I should've stayed away from. However, Coop certainly appreciated that I came to his defense and even later friended me on steam and thanked me for standing up for them. If admins can pull instances of me using text chat, I welcome them to go back and read what Epicnator was telling Coop, as this would corroborate my account of events on 7/10. As such, I feel I wasn't goading anyone into argument, but rather got worked up while trying to defend a kid from another user.
The second reason for the gag was alleged bind spamming. In the image provided however, it shows 9 instances of me using binds over the course of three days. I'm doubtful that qualifies as spam. The "explosion" binds are ones I use in the instance of random crits, a reference to the character of my pfp. It is a harmless bit of role play, and I certainly don't use it as often as some players use binds complaining about random crits. The binds referencing BIG_gura_fan are me congratulating a friend on a domination. Finally, the message where I mention "toast ghost" is actually not a bind. It's me talking to another player who I met on blackwonder about a show recommendation I had for him.
Finally, I was also permanently banned from using sprays. I can't provide a date or administrator ID because I haven't been able to find an official complaint brought against me regarding my use of sprays. The spray I had equipped which I believe was the cause of the controversy was, in hindsight, not within the bounds of blackwonder's rules on sprays. I am a rather new player to blackwonder though, so I was unaware of the rules against suggestive sprays. I was afforded no warnings prior to the ban, and as such, had no opportunity to remedy my actions prior to the ban being enforced. I have since removed the spray from my spray files and have replaced it with one that complies with blackwonder's rules regarding sprays.
I know I touched on a lot of points in this appeal, so I will offer a short summary. The recent update to valve servers has made them largely unplayable since most bots now crash the servers. This change forced me to start exploring community servers and eventually led me to blackwonder. As such, I am rather new to the community and was unfamiliar with the rules. I really like blackwonder and a lot of the people in it, and would love to continue being able to interact with other players. I completely understand that some of my actions were unacceptable. However, I was still trying to develop an understanding of the kind of community blackwonder encourages and promotes. As such, when I encountered toxic players, such as ones harassing kids, I escalated in kind. I feel my behavior at most times has been acceptable however, as is supported by 10,000 Cold Knights response to a thread where someone upset over dominations filed a report.
In all, I am really sorry if my behavior at times has upset other players, but I feel I've been portrayed in a one-sided, negative light at a time when I was still trying to understand the expectations of the community. I would ask that the bans be lifted and that maybe I be placed on some sort of probationary period. If I exhibit any behavior that violates the rules from this point on, now that I have a clearer understanding of the expectations of blackwonder, I would completely understand if permanent measures were taken.
Whatever decision you come to, I understand. You have a community to maintain and I respect that. I would just enjoy being a part of that community as the TF2 community supported by Valve continues to shrink. Thanks so much for your time.
