Answered Quick Forum Question From A New User

Sorry if I'm being blind or missing something obvious,
but I'm very new, not only to this forum, but forums in general.
I've noticed that people seem to have this these "calling card" type things whenever they post a comment, I'm not sure how to describe it but when people reply to a thread, below the actual reply, they have a picture, gif or text that's always there when they post.

Hopefully I'm not being super dumb and I described what I'm talking about, but I was wondering, are these a donator/staff only thing or can all users add them, if so, how?

If you want gifs / pictures, click on the "Image" icon and link the picture, gif.

Can they picture only be from a URL or is there a way to directly upload it from a file?

I think you can only use URLs but don't quote me on that. You should probably upload the pics/gifs you want somewhere and then you can easily link it. (gyapo, postimg, imgur).

Embeds do work - or at least they did one year ago when I finally disabled signatures entirely.

I think I've got it working, didn't know what to do so I just strung together some album covers
(after having to resize them ten-thousand times)
