At the current moment, you need to wait for a staff member to approve your post, this is a hassle for the staff and people commenting. If someone posts something inappropriate give them a forum report instead of them having to wait. Additionally, if you have important feedback that can have a big impact on the outcome of the post then it should be posted asap rather than waiting for admin approval.

Not really a hassle for staff at all. If it's stupid we just leave it alone, if it's useful we click twice and it goes public. Better now than 15 idiots posting the same pros and cons list over and over plus normie opinions don't actually matter that much without evidence or extensive knowledge of an applicant.

this is a hassle for the staff and people commenting.
It's actually the opposite, because when they have to be approved it's much easier for us to deal with shitposts.
The only people that should be commenting on apps are the applicant themselves or people with evidence. Either way, we can see comments before approving them so it's not an issue.

Moderator Approval:
- Allows admins to see if the comment is appropriate/relevant/helpful.
- Prevents shitposting and stupid arguments before they even begin to derail the application.

No Moderator Approval:
- "mods asleep, shitpost seals app"

The real hassle was when arguments started to break out under apps. without any reason or when completely random people started to copy paste the same pros and cons list thus flooding the whole thread, the hassle was handling that, this is the afterlife.

70% of replies on admin applications are "+support because I met you for 2 seconds before you left the server" or "Pros: Is alive Cons: none. +support".

This really isn't a hassle for anyone. Only because they wouldn't need to type anything unnecessary in the first place, that's why this was implemented. To avoid unnecessary comments that generally have nothing to do with the application.

I rather not have it change back to allowing anyone to comment, I wouldn't want to see a ton of +support from random accounts that are probably alternate accounts or friends' of that applicant.

If your comment was not sent to the application, then it's simply not needed.
