What is your type of punishment?
Team Ban

Where were you banned from? Servers

What is your SteamID?
STEAM_0:0:184983560

Who has punished you?
Tax Fraud

Why were you punished?
Not turning off ff before a slay

Why should we revoke your punishment?
My situation was different common sense can’t really be applied here because of past action blackwonder donors and admins to be fast to the trigger with team bans it’s common sense to slay plus a donor is how died in the incident. The logical solution is to slay. If this was a actual rule it would be find and I would understand why, but any logical person would slay before turning off ff.

You state that the logical solution of having someone accidentally die from friendly fire would be to slay yourself immediately. Do you believe that turning off friendly fire before slaying yourself is the illogical move?

To me yes it was a logical move at the time. Now saying I’m having to appeal it I would turn it off ff just so I wouldn’t have to deal with this. The reason behind my logic it’s something I haven’t seen many people do on jail break no I’m not saying they don’t to do why do I. My issue is that you don’t just have common sense you learn from experience and use that to make a logical decision. Another issue is I do have a past, and I’m trying not to get banned not saying that if I waited to do Cold would have been banned me, but I’ve hade donors in the that jump the gun sometimes. With all these experiences is it really that hard to see why I made the logical decision to slay myself.

You are saying that slaying yourself before turning friendly fire off would have prevented someone from punishing you? Slaying yourself after accidentally freekilling is totally fine, but you still need to be held accountable for your actions. It’s likely a donor would have initiated a vote regardless if you slayed yourself right away or slayed yourself after turning off friendly fire. However, you made your situation much worse by leaving friendly fire in and allowing more reds to die.

Unless you can provide me a valid reason to remove your punishment, I’m going to decline this appeal.

Sorry if I was vague again tax, but your team banning me off a rule that is really vague. if this was a rule I would understand, but your doing this off common sense I have stated why it’s common sense, but everyone’s common sense is different. Not to mention it’s common sense that someone would go warden and turn it off.
It’s also not like I had 5 minutes to think about this.

Your teamban was changed to reflect your error and the proper escalation of punishments. The referenced freekilling (aside from an instance in June) were 15+months ago, and there was a 13 months gap between teambans, when I know you were active the entire time. Your punishment will expire in 3 days, effectively doubling your prior teamban for freekilling.
