How to make a video using shotcut

Hello this topic is about Shotcut a free usable video editor.
1. Click on open file on the top left and open the file and drag it to timeline (must have a project first by naming the project and stuff)
2. Add an audio track by right clicking on timeline and click create Audio track. (Optional)
3.basically done but when automaticly saved your “Project” will be saved as .mlt which is not IN the Youtube Formats. To fix just when you are done editing just click on Export File/Export. I suggest using WMV format. And click export file/export.
NOTE: If this is advertising please inform me and casually remove the post.
This is it. If any other tools you need to know of it. Please click/tap yes on the pole and i make part 2.
And this is for Youtube not squarespace or anything

if it is for a video for Youtube please record gameplay or record the demo. Shotcut doesn't support .dem files
but if it is a player report on Blackwonder.tf you should use .dem files becaause i tried using my WMV file to attach it but it took too long so i went with demo

the only reason I used shotcut was to either make my assignments for my music classes or just to meme around
