How to Appeal - Guide

Important information to know before posting in this sub-forum

• Only staff and OP are allowed to respond to appeals unless there is valuable information that needs to be shared; Refrain from posting otherwise.
• If you’re appealing a cheating/hacking ban, please be patient as staff need to do a thorough investigation before coming to a final decision.
• You cannot appeal an alt that was banned for cheating or used to avoid a permanent ban from another account.

How to Find Your SteamID

• Visit your Steam profile, right click, and select “Copy Page URL”
• Visit findsteamid.com on your preferred browser and paste the URL you copied into the search bar.
• Click “Lookup” and then you should see some IDs pop up, copy the STEAMID2. It should look like this: STEAM_0:0:00000000

How to Appeal a Ban/Gag/Mute

• Visit bans.blackwonder.tf and paste your SteamID into the appropriate search box.
  • If you were banned, search using “Search Bans…”
  • If you were gagged, muted, or silenced, use “Search Comms…”
• Click on your punishment to expand the page to view all the information you’re going to need to appeal.
• There are 2 different ways to appeal your punishment. You can appeal with a registered account that gives you access to post on your appeal or you can appeal as a guest, but you will not be able to post on your appeal.
  • If you have a registered forum account, visit: blackwonder.tf/form/punishment-appeal.3/select
  • If you would like to appeal as a guest, visit: blackwonder.tf/form/guest-punishment-appeal.7/select
• Fill out the forum and we will try to respond as soon as possible.

How to Appeal a TeamBan

• Visit our Discord server to access our bot.
• If you’re already in our Discord server, go to #bot and type “/teambans check” and search using your SteamID.
• Once searched, all the information of your TeamBan will be provided to you to use on your appeal.
• There are 2 different ways to appeal your punishment. You can appeal with a registered account that gives you access to post on your appeal or you can appeal as a guest, but you will not be able to post on your appeal.
