My name is Grandpa #Blw.tf (I added the Blw.tf because I’m the most common player to ever be there, so I kinda deserve a reward. ANYWAY I would like to Apply for Mod applications Because why not? I’ve been playing tf2 for like ALONG time and those casual games in tf2 are starting to get boring so I told myself… “Why don’t I just start playing tf2 community servers? So then the topic “Jailbreak” begins… I started off with Panda. I don't remember how long I’ve been there but it should be for a couple years now then I started Wonderland… just 1 year I’m guessing or a couple months can’t really remember BUT then I saw Blackwonder. I told myself again, “What an interesting server, I would like to join this community!” And then it began the server that I should have joined a long time ago, it started off laggy… it had to load like every plugin in that server with warden markers and other random plugins. But I managed through it pretty fine. The issue started to lower down and I got the chance to actually play properly. Now I was playing normally. People loved me. I had this elderly man's voice impression and they were going crazy after that when I slowly stopped using it they asked me to do the impression but I kinda just layed it off with a lie and said I was “sick” and can’t do it. Anyway so this is how it started, I was normally playing couple of jailbreak rounds (as always) then these toxic guys come in and start dissing on everyone and even when the warden talks they keep telling him to “Shut the f#ck up” and other words I’d rather not like to say like the n-word and all that stuff they even harassed a woman normally playing warden and started saying “Go clean the dishes or random fire her without a reason and saying other despicable stuff I’d rather not say in this application it was basically almost like the whole server. I wish I was able to screenshot/record that moment but nooo when I do that in tf2 it doesn’t do anything other than not giving me a response. (but no worries, I’ll have that fixed in no time) and talking about the topic “rulebreakers” these people are everywhere mostly when staff are off the most, no one can really do anything about it (unless they report it) which I don’t see and these people are still in the server playing normally, that's basically the whole sorry on how it begins, that's what really motivated me into becoming an staff to stop these people and make sure our jailbreak server is a playable platform to play normally instead of getting rulebreakers or hackers to ruin their day. And of course Blackwonder wouldn’t like that. So there's me, I’m an average Jailbreak player (Experienced) . I always read rules before joining ANY server because if I join without reading them, I’ll just casually do things I’m not allowed to. Sera already mentioned it in the discord but i'll remention it, we expect our new moderators to show initiative in reporting rule breakers via !calladmin reports/asking for a staff member to join via #requesthelp/and moreso taking evidence yourself and submitting it either here on the forums or on the discord.

Additionally you have several questionable punishment ladder choices i'll mention a few below

I understand what you mean for confirmed cheaters, but any player can submit an appeal if they believe they were falsely punished. We are all humans, we will make mistakes. Additionally exploiting generally isn't an immediate perma and is more situational.

No, just no. This isn’t even a rule, and I don’t like the idea of an applicant thinking it’s ok to punish someone for literally doing one of the main objectives of the gamemode. To me, it seems that you both don’t have a good grasp on the jb rules yet, and that you are willing to punish someone when they annoy you by being better at the game, which is not a good look for any applicant.

This links back to what I said about you wanting to punish people for simply playing the game on jb. You can’t just make up random rules on the fly just to punish people you don’t like, otherwise that would be tantamount to abuse and you would be removed promptly. There are a list of jailbreak rules. I highly recommend you read and understand them, as if you ever become staff, that is what you are expected to enforce.

Overall, I feel like you still lack the basic knowledge and experience on jailbreak (evident by your lack of understanding of the jailbreak rules and lack of playtime). I highly recommend you reread the rules and understand what we actually punish for. Also you need to get your playtime up.

Thank you for viewing my application before the actual people see if they could accept it or not, I kinda worked hard on it all night I have this issue where when I do something I want it to be perfect, but after the comments you guys sent... A lot seems to be missing, I humbly apologies and will make sure my playtime is higher then ever and fix the rules you guys suggested that is wrong. and I want to talk about crikey's response saying "Just to punish people you don't like." I never thought about that and never will I already know that's a form of abuse maybe you misunderstood. I'll maybe edit this later on today and fix the mistakes I've done in that applications and about the "Red rebeling" rule I might have accidentally placed that there I forgot to remove it I'm also sorry about that.
