I know @Benedevil said it was fixed, but when I checked it out, stomp still takes almost ALL the hales health...
The thing with the goomba dealing so much damage is that it's kinda unfair to the player who's the hale, because, he gets to be hale, but if he gets stomped, he loses 80% of his health (or more)
I hope this can be fixed :s
