Im going to keep this as simple and general as this can get as i am primarily talking about is community wise with the people that hop on the servers.

Lets be real the main people that will see this are people who have been on for a great ammount of time and have their own experiences from worst to best.

Why am i doing this? I want to show an idea to everyone of what the people here think but without them showing themselves. If no one else will then i will.

If some people hate this or find this pointless well honestly i dont care, i want the truth out there.

Brave enough to comment what you really think? Thank you

No, not currently. As for now there are just mostly appeals and reports. People have left, jb has become boring for me and most of my friends and the community as a whole for me personally has become dull.

I feel like I should be saying something since I use the forums more than I actually play the game at this point. TF2 has kinda died for me. VSH is always on the same handful of maps, FF2 rarely has players when I'm on, Jailbreak was almost never fun (though I had some jolly good times with @Drax), and 2fort is just 2fort. It's not really anything that Blackwonder can help, it's just kind of what happened.

That being said, I've been somewhat noticing people becoming less active on the forums. I thought I was alone since I'm (probably) the only one that just kinda loiters on the forums, but I guess other people have noticed it too.

The forums has been overwhelmed by a flood of reports and appeals, nothing else. I understand why, the amount of reports has somewhat become a status amongst us. Personally, the only time I'd write a report if there was somebody on the server blatantly breaking rules. Intentional mass freekill? Sure, I'll report that. Delaying a round of VSH for more than a few minutes? I got places to be, games to play, I'll report that. Last I've checked of these reports (though admittedly was a while ago, back when they weren't the only feature on the website) it'd usually be for something little, like calladmin abuse, a feature admins have said that they don't even bother checking much anymore. I don't understand, but it's as if you write reports for everything you see. You can tell, too. If you were to mark all threads as read and let the forums sit for a day, by the time you came to check out the forums again there'd be 2-4 pages of just reports.

At this point, I pretty much live for dumpster threads. They're the only other kind of thread, and I'm actually allowed to post on those. They are few and far between, and don't stick around for long, however. Then it's back to just occasionally checking up on the forums, saying nothing because there is nothing to say.

I guess to summarize my rambling all up, the reports are absolutely consuming the forums, but there also isn't really anything posted otherwise for me to post on. There are no more debates about game mechanics, no more off topic threads about god knows what, and even the pinned forum game threads are pretty dead.

I think a "yes" or "no" is a little too simplistic for poll results, though. The forums are dead, but that doesn't mean I dislike the community. The people here are cool, and every time I play TF2 it's a Blackwonder server because I know that it will be a good quality server with well enforced rules.

TL;DR forums are dying, but the community is still a pretty swell place

man ive been on this forum for a year or 2 now and ive seen it just deteriorate while ive been here (jailbreak is cancer reds just bitch and whine all the time most of them are like 9)
but i mean find tf2 still fun and the community servers funny but some time i literally dont fucking care i go on blue and be the chilliest warden i barely kill people that try and walk on me i just say back up and what not. but these kids got no respect and its annoying biggest rule that needs to be added (just cause you have a mic doesn't mean u should use it)

Friends leaving Blackwonder or no longer playing tf2 doesn't mean that Blackwonder is at a bad state; it just means that they're no longer playing here. If you feel that Blackwonder is at a bad state, please give feedback on how we can make this into better state.

This is a tough question. I think at this stage it is in between. I don't feel like elaborating but that is just how I personally feel.

Since I'm not really an old member of Blackwonder.tf, I really don't have an actual opinion of this. But I can say I have not really seen the difference for the past 8-9 months that I have been in here. Honestly? In my opinion it has gotten slightly better due to the recent updates and improvements to both the servers and the forums. I would say that true, some people did leave, some of them are good friends and probably people we will miss but this is more of a personal opinion. So I can't say anything about that part as it may not be the same for the others.

TL;DR Honestly IMO I think the community definitely has gotten better or at least stayed the same and I still like the current BLW.TF. Every other servers or communities has these type of situations, it's how "change" works. We have to get used to the people we knew longest and meet new faces.

I of course I am new to the forums but so far what I noticed is that people often give a like, a dislike or something else in that trance but do not actually post a reply. This to me seems rather shallow and makes the forum feel like a stack of reports. As one who sees discussing as a way to improve I think that things could definitely improve if discussions are actually done and not just putting something a thumb on it.

What I also noticed is the lack of dealing with trouble makers. I am talking about people who are walking on the edge of what is acceptable. When I joined the forums I wrote rather formal as I am used to doing that on other communities where it is normal to speak in such a manner. Speaking bold and directly wasn´t something we did unless there was a reason. When I later joined the discord I directly got criticized and annoyed by some member. I must say, my response could have been better but this surely doesn´t make you feel welcome. Now I don´t even bother going on discord much because criticizing people for thinking seems ludicrous to me. We had the same issue on a community I used to be manager on. As an admin I fixed the issue by making a list of troublemakers who any member of the staff can list. Other staff can then state if they agree or disagree. If the staff agreed the person is a troublemaker we would contact him or in some cases directly ban the person. This suggestion of mine solved many issues and really improved the servers because those few annoying people make others leave.

I have something else to say but you may find it later in suggestions.

I honestly love the people I play with. Blackwonder servers are imo the cleanest servers out there. Sure, assholes and f2ps happen but that's going to happen on every server in TF2. There's a lot of regulars on JB alone, we all know each other and treat each other with respect. Blackwonder also has many, many inside jokes and memes that make it even better. I see the people are leaving and getting bored too, but it's not the fault of community, it's just them. I have never been so well recieved as a new player and then had such a fun time gaining friends and respect in all my time playing TF2.

Apart from the usual micspammer, the deathrun servers are fine :)
