Class Wars is fun, but suffers from the problem of there only being a handful of actually balanced and interesting matchups. Half of the rounds are either !surrender-ed immediately or become total stomps because of the matchup. I think an interesting way to remedy this is to add the possibility for rounds where two classes are enabled per team (e.g. Engineer + Scout v.s. Pyro + Demoman), or even just two classes enabled server-wide (e.g. Pyro + Demoman v.s. Pyro + Demoman). This would produce more interesting strategies and counterplay. It would be less likely for an unwinnable matchup to occur, as even if one class is hard-countered by the enemy, the other may not be, allowing the match to still be playable (e.g. Engineer + Scout v.s. Spy + Demoman can simply be played as Scout v.s. Spy + Demoman).
