The current amount, somewhere around 10, means that maps have a "cooldown" of 10 hours, other than when RTV is used. This typically means that late in the day, certain popular maps are never available, as people in the morning already played them. If the recently played count was reduced by a few, maybe to 5-6, it would allow those who play later in the day to get a chance at some of the maps.

map rotation should be at least 5 or lower for jailbreak. the map rotation for jailbreak has probably the most maps second to deathrun though so whilst 10 maps are on cooldown there's plenty of choices to pick from
