Declined Can the website rule on "don't be offensive to others" be a little more clear?

I was gagged on VSH for an hour for saying "faggot" in a rather joking way, and with no warning. I believed that considering it was in jest, and we're playing a mature game, I had a fair grounds to mess with my fellow players. Should they speak up and ask me not to use that kind of terminology, I'd have no problem to oblige.
But that wasn't the case, and not only that, but I had no prior warning. I had also read the rules when joining the server.

I would just like to suggest that the rules on the website / ingame are more clear as to what the Blackwonder team considers an insult. That, and/or it'd be nice to get a *warning* before getting muted for a hefty 60 minutes.

insult
a disrespectful or scornfully abusive remark or act.

offensive
causing someone to feel resentful, upset, or annoyed.

Although I couldn't refresh and see the most recent chatlog from you, this definitely seems like you're insulting someone if taken out of context.

If you still miss the point, using a sexuality to name someone even as a joke would make someone else, whom is literally that sexuality you are using as a title, to be offended.

Cool, so you read the rules. That makes you coming here to complain, very confusing.

You are a 19 year old American. If you aren't aware that calling someone a FAGGOT is insulting....Then I would have to direct you to your mother to determine where things went wrong. We are not here to play parent for the players. We are here to try and keep things civil for those who wish to enjoy themselves without insulting others or breaking other rules.

PS Some admins would have punished you much longer than just an hour, for such a common sense thing.

I know the Common Sense rule is under Jailbreak but I think it should apply to things like this as well. Then again, you should be able to figure out if it is insulting or not by yourself. If you really have to see it more described than it already being self explanitory, have you tried thinking of those quotes you see on posters in elementary school and stuff? Consider thinking of those quotes before you end up getting yourself gagged or muted again

It is already an easy understanding process to whom be reading the rule it does not need any amount of transparency

Wait a minute how can you even tell the diffrence when you can't see the insuled face, they would then be salty and take it as offensive, so you may want to make it more clearer

In this scenario, 'insulting' is used as a noun which would mean that it is an ACTION of doing something that is inappropriate to a certain group of people. However, the definition of 'offend' in this scenario is a verb as it is a reaction to someone who behaved inappropriately.

when you can't see the insuled face, they would then be salty and take it as offensive, so you may want to make it more clearer
They are, in most cases, a sycronym which means they literally relate to each other in terms of definition that seems to fit the scenario eitherway. Also, it should be an 'offended look' and not 'insulted face'.

If you have no idea what a verb or a noun is, feel free to look it up in the internet instead of putting in your comments in an old thread that did not help either. If you truly believe that I did not give a proper definition, do all of us a favor and correct me instead of pointing it out and doing nothing about it.
