I am writing to appeal my recent ban, which cites "alt account" as the reason. I want to clarify that this is not an alternate account, and I am genuinely unsure why this ban was applied to my account. I have always used this as my main account and have not engaged in any activities that would justify such a ban.
Additionally, my friend, who goes by the username "ronniemcnuttfan67" (Steam ID: STEAM_0:1:894264954), was also banned around the same time for the same reason. Both of us were banned on the 24th of August 2024, within a minute of each other, and both bans were issued by the same admin, 10000 Cold Knights. This leads me to believe that there may have been some correlation between our bans, possibly due to a misunderstanding or error.
I understand that the community takes rules and guidelines seriously, and I fully respect that. However, in this case, I believe there has been a mistake or misunderstanding. Neither of us has a history of cheating, using unfair software, or creating alternate accounts to circumvent rules or penalties. These accounts are our main accounts, and we have no intention of violating any rules.
If there was any confusion related to our usernames or other factors, I sincerely apologize for any discomfort it may have caused. We are both willing to make any necessary adjustments to our accounts or behavior to ensure compliance with community standards.
