I was a rank called Council over the summer on PXG for CS:GO (essentially what the rank meant and was that I was assigned a server and I had to manage/build the community within that server).
I am no longer staff on PXG because the owner wanted to switch over to a new server and name. The PXG network was primarily surf combat based and the owner felt that the other surf combat communities didn’t like his server (which was true), so he tried to move the entire community and discord onto a new server. The majority of people didn’t like it and I started to argue with him about his decision and how nothing would change. I eventually got demoted after a ton of arguing and in the switching of servers, it didn’t take him long to switch back after a whiplash of hate from the community (I am not saying it was the owner’s decision I got demoted, just simply saying “I argued with the owner” sounds like I start fights because I don’t agree, so I wanted to give context about why I did).

I primarily play Blackwonder | Jailbreak NY but if it is empty I will play EU, LA, and TX Jailbreak.

Why do you want to become an admin?
In my opinion, the standard “I want to punish rule-breakers and hackers!” and “I want to improve the community!” isn’t a valid reason to want to become an admin because that is already what they do.
I want to show my dedication and commitment to the advancement of the Blackwonder network. Whether that could be testing plugins, helping future gamemode development, or just being there for a server in need of attention.
What I just said about “being there for a server in need of attention” I speak about my main server NY Jailbreak. NY (from my experience) suffers major neglect from admins and always has the most people, at the same time, being chaotic and unruly which results in people saying all the time “I love this server” ironically, or just flat-out saying something like “wow, this server has become extremely cancer” and I don’t like seeing that.

How would you go about punishing a hacker, spammer, simple rulebreaker, etc?
All:
Evasion of punishment: Whatever punishment they would have gotten will be multiplied by 2
Spamming chat: They will be asked to stop but the punishment is dependent on the severity of the spam
Spamming voice chat: same as above
Playing music : The player will be warned to stop and if not, 2 hour mute > 4 hour mute > 12 hour mute > 1 day mute > 1 week mute > permanent mute
Earrape: Immediate 1 day mute with a firm warning to never do so again > 1 week mute > permanent mute
Pornography spray: Permanent spray ban
Exploiting/Glitching: 1 day ban > 3 day ban > 1 week ban > 2 week ban > permanent ban (this is subject to change on the severity of the exploit/glitch)
Racism: 1 day gag/mute > 3 day gag/mute > 1 week gag/mute > 2 week gag/mute > permanent gag/mute (this is also subject to change based on the context used)
Hacking: I will begin recording and grab steamid before concluding a verdict (which will always be a permanent ban if they are) on the hacker
Advertising cheats/hacks: I will begin recording and grab steamid in case of the advertiser actually hacking himself but it will be a permanent silence if the advertiser is not, otherwise it will be put under hacking
Revealing admins: 8 hour silence > 1 day silence > 3 day silence > 1 week silence > 2 week silence > permanent silence
Jailbreak specific punishments
General:
Sticky traps: They will be asked to SAFELY detonate the stickies away from reds if they are on blu and on red will just be asked to detonate them, if they don’t they will be slayed
Delaying round/camping: They will be asked to not delay/camp and if continued, slay
Ghosting: They will be gagged or muted for 30 minutes immediately and then firmly warned not to do it again, if continued it will start with a 2 hour gag/mute then multiplied by 3 after each additional offense
False accusations: Falls under spam in my eyes
Talking during mic check: They will be told not to speak a few more times, if continued, 3 hour mute
Red:
Most of the punishments that reds could do, have already been talked about
Freeday abuse/greifing: Warned to stop immediately and if continued, slay
Blu: For reference and simplicity, everytime I refer to a topic in blu/warden about a “guard ban”, it is a guard ban starting with 3 hours and then multiplied by 2 for continuous offenses
Inaudible microphone: Will be deemed as having no microphone and a permanent guard ban until mic is proven to be working
Freehit: Slay, continuous freehits will result in a guard ban
Freekill: 1 day guard ban and the person(s) who were freekilled will be respawned
Mass freekill (4+): 1 week ban and the person(s) who were freekilled will be respawned
Not with warden: Will be told to be with warden and if not, slay, continuously doing this will be a guard ban
Team killing: Will be told never to do so and if done it will be a guard ban
Favoritism: The blu will be asked not to favorite players and if continued it will be a guard ban
Griefing: Immediate slay and then will be told not to, if continued it will be a guard ban
No mic : Permanent guard ban until proven they have a mic
Denial of LR: The killed player will receive a freeday and the killer will recieve a guard ban

Tricky orders: Warden will be told to make them more simplistic and clear, if not, slay
Illegal FF: Friendly fire will be turned off and the warden will receive a 6 hour guard ban
Illegal orders/lieing: Warden will be warned they cannot do so and if continued, slay or guard ban for repeat offenses
Unwardening from server-selected warden: They will be force-wardened and told to stay warden, if not, slay or guard ban for repeat offenses
Not repeating: They will be told to give repeats and if not, slay
Warden hogging: They will be forcibly unwardened and told not to hog, continuous offences will result in a slay or guard ban
Illegal days/games: They will be warned not to do so and if they still attempt to do it, they will be slayed

---Activity on forums
I first created my account back in February to make an appeal on my first ban for glitch abusing which was completely justified I have nothing to say about it other than that I was abusing a certain glitch. After that I became a lurker on the forums other than maybe commenting on something once every 2 weeks but I was just hidden in the shadows reading new posts and never posting something of my own. I have done more on the forums now that I am back into tf2 and that I now have shadowplay to make reports.

I have 9 Comm blocks but when taking away the ones that I was unbanned/joke block, I only have 4 real blocks. 3 of the blocks are for exposing undercover admins and i’ll be honest, all of them I did reveal admins, I just kinda blanked out and wasn’t thinking (it doesn’t excuse what I did though). The other one was for spam which I was using SLAM to play songs for an old, illegal day called “music day”. My only actual ban was talked about in the “Activity on forums” subsection and the most recent ban was just helping Jim testing the hidden punishments change.
I typed this application in a google doc before publishing so I could work on it in different places to make it as best I possibly could. (I mainly worked on this application at school).

I am one of those people who don’t try that much when it comes to something I don’t enjoy or care about, but when I find that one thing that I truly feel dedicated and care enough, I will give it my all.
