So i was playing pyro just capping intel running back and forth. I was gagged at the time so I couldn't have been banned for offensive language. I was simply waiting near my intel room with the enemies intel. Then i get smited, then banned. Is it against the rules to NOT cap?

Holding the intelligence with no intention to capture it is against the rules.

Actively preventing others (by holding intel) from completing the point of the map is trolling.

Holding intel counts as griefing so that's why you got your ban.
