On what servers do you usually play on and which one would you like to moderate?
LA Jailbreak is by far my main server and the server I'd like to watch over the most. I also spend a decent amount of time on US2Fort when LA's empty, and as such would also like to moderate there. I don't do nearly as much on AUS Jailbreak as I do LA, but would also like to be mod there in case of an emergency. While it would be nice to also moderate UK VSH Skyhigh 24/7, I'm not quite comfortable enough with its rules other than "Thou Shalt not Spam Comms," so I'd rather not have perms there.

Why would you like to become a moderator?
Simply put, It's a way for me to give back. Reporting a mass freekiller or a cheater ensures they'll be punished, yes, but they're free to disrupt the rest of the server until the report is resolved, which in even the fastest cases still leaves them 5-10 minutes to wreak havoc, usually much longer. Putting in the work required to take care of the problem myself, and not having to wait for another staff member to review reports, is the least I can do for a community I've spent so much time on already. I've also received more than a fair share of encouragement to do so from both the regulars and some staff here, so I figured I'd give it a shot.

Spoiler: Teambans

Most of these are for MFK, which leads me to my last note.

Certain staff members were curious as to why I've held off on applying till now, and I promised them an explanation on my app, so here we go. As I'm sure most of you are aware, I was teambanned back in late April for effectively MFK for a month (it was originally even longer, but Herald decided to give me another chance, thx man). During this time, I took a break from Blackwonder, a decision that I held to even after the punishment was reduced, to think about some things. It was a rough couple of weeks. I came to realize that I'd failed everyone, that in my efforts to secure wins for the blu team I was being overzealous and breaking rules I'd chastised others for disobeying. I knew that if I kept it up, I would inevitably be permanently teambanned, and that I had to tone back my competitive edge and focus more on the rules in order for me to ever have a chance here again. And so I did. It took some time, and there were a few bumps along the way, but after a while I convinced myself that maybe one day, I could even try to apply for staff if things kept going like they were.
Which leads me to today's Date.
It's no accident that I made this on Halloween. I had previously planned on making an app on my birthday back in June, but everything spiraled out of control a month before I planned on applying. I had no intention of making such a mistake again, so I promised myself that I'd hold off on making any sort of app until today, to prove to myself that I could handle the responsibility. And now that day has come. I also enjoy making reports quite a bit, so that also factored into things somewhat ;p

glad to see you're finALLY applying. I'll keep this one short and skip the punishment section (Some1 else do it lol)because I'm currently procrastinating lotz of homework.
1.) You make a significantly large amount of reports
2.) You know the rules and hold people accountable to em (Even me sometimes LOL)
3.) Previous punishments are too long ago to be relevant and the ban was unjustified blah blah blah
4.) Chat logs are tame and playtime is good
5.) You help new players and you are very friendly in-game
6.) You ask a lot of questions about rules to clarify which is good

With proper guidance, you would make a great moderator!

You are always willing to help out the BLW with all these reports that you make on a day to day basis and in-game. 2.) You are always polite and honest and not toxic which is very nice. 3.) You know the rules pretty well and enforce them. 4.) Your punishments are quite old which is a good thing that you learned from these punishments.

Summary: Nice person and always willing to help out in many servers.

I think you'd make a very good staff member.

My experience with you is only limited to 2Fort servers so that is mainly what I'll address. I do think your forum activity is one of the highest, if not the highest in regards to reports. I know some Staff look forward to going through them, as you put them together in a simple and efficient manner.

On 2Fort itself, I have seen you be helpful to others, mainly newer players or new players to the community. This is always going to a plus in my book as it turns these players into regulars for the community. I have heard and seen you give warnings and information to those that are breaking rules in the servers and while you are not required to do this as a player, it is nice to see.

I have read the other comments and seen what other Staff have said towards your previous punishments. As I am not a JB Admin, I will not touch on those specifics since I only run on 2Forts, but you have never given me a reason to keep an eye on you while in the same server.

All that being said, I think you would make a good Mod given the chance. Good Luck!

As long as the mic is intelligible, you can leave them. If it's unintelligble you can just follow the standard ladder for comm blocks.

Accidental Freekill: Warning+Respawn the Red-> Slay (only should the individual not slay himself/herself, same for the rest of the ladder)-> 1 Hour teamban-> 2 Hours-> 4 Hours-> 8 Hours-> 1 Day

Accidental freekill pardons should only be given at your discretion. Continuous accidental freekill should be treated as a standard freekill.


Overall, your punishments are solid and you have a consistent ladder. The punishments are well researched and you included a lot of situations.

Thanks Kerk. I've enjoyed the report system here ever since I discovered it. If some of the older servers I used to play on had something similar, perhaps they wouldnt've died off like they did. The warnings and such are just something I'm used to giving, a symptom of constantly trying to make sure inexperienced players dont get barred from the blu team in Jailbreak shortly after joining, and the practice stuck with me once I started playing on other servers. I'll certainly try to stick with that mentality going forward.
(Also not quite the most, haven't managed to catch Supreme Leader yet, but I'm close ;p)

I've seen you multiple times in-game. You are very knowledgeable on the rules and no one here seems to have a problem with you. Your reports are notorious and as others have said, you have a knack for it. It wouldn't be a bad idea to make you a mod since you spend a large amount of time on all of our different platforms (i.e discord, servers and forum); plus, that is the type of attitude I personally like to see from people who are trying to become mod/admin (someone who actually tries to integrate themselves into the community in a good way). As far as bans and comm-blocks go, your last ban was 9 months ago. You didn't even do anything wrong. And the comm blocks were over a year ago, which is an acceptable amount of time for reflection.

Overall, app looks good, your explanation to the teamban is fine. Your responses to the team are outstanding and a lot of admins/mods here recognize you as a great addition. I especially like your response to lucas, it showed you are humble and not necessarily power hungry.

Conclusion, I'd like to see what @Herald11 would say about you regarding the teamban and his opinion. I have nothing bad to say about you for the time being. I wish you good luck with your application.
