On what servers do you usually play on and which one would you like to moderate?
I usually play on 2Fort servers and would like to moderate those servers if possible
Why would you like to become a moderator?
I want to become an admin because I want to make a difference. I know that’s exactly what everyone else says but sadly it’s the truth. I’ve come to know and learn about the community and I’ve come to know that unfortunately there are people out there who want to ruin the fun for others.
I decided I wanted to apply quite a while ago however I never got round to it until recently. Recently I came across someone using what I believed to be fake lag and was disgusted that there are people like this so today I decided to try my luck and help the server out a little as both me and my friend thoroughly enjoy playing on it.
I decided to apply because of people abusing the game's mechanics or using external sources. Like I said earlier I have come across my fair share of people exploiting and ruining the experience for others. I want to become an admin because of that but I also want to become an admin to help the community. The community of tf2 has had its fair share of bumps and bruises however I feel that keeping the community happy and healthy is what will keep this game going and keep the servers going. Being an admin I would be able to look after those playing on the server and give them a great time without them having to worry about someone hacking or exploiting.

When are you usually available to play?
I am from the UK and The times I will play are as follows Because of Covid these times may change in the future Weekdays and weekends I will be able to play anytime from 10am all the way until maybe 3-4am. So basically all day until the early hours of the morning. I usually start playing around 2pm however my end times vary as sometimes I will go relax around 5pm or I will continue to play until the early hours of the morning.
Please give us your ideal way of punishing players, specific to the server you want to moderate
I only have proper experience on the 2fort servers so this section may not be as long as it should.
If a player is spamming text chat then the first thing I will do is ask them to stop. If they repeat and it is there first time I would Gag them for 10-15 minutes. If it is there 2nd offence I would gag them for longer, 3rd offence I would gag them for one hour as they clearly know what they are doing and should already know the consequences.
The same goes for voice chat.
If they are spamming both then they will be silenced. The same timings apply here as well.
If the player is using an inappropriate spray which may include
Pornography, racial slurs, uncomfortable or disturbing images they will be spray banned.
If it is their first offence I will warn them to change their spray or they will be spray banned for a short period of time.
If it is their second offence I won’t warn them and simply spray ban them for an extended period of time.
If it is there third offence I will spray ban them for up to an hour
Any other offences after this could result in a ban (I am unsure if banning after 3 offences is correct, however I felt like this would be the case)
I would only kick players if absolutely necessary however I am unsure of what the circumstances may be as they can simply just join back afterwards.
Slay/Smite/Explode would be used if the player has managed to get somewhere on the map they are not supposed to be or are exploiting a game mechanic allowing them to access somewhere outside of the map
The ban command would be used in extreme situations like clear use of hacking or braking multiple rules after multiple offences.
Is there any other information you would like us to know about?
I have had admin and super admin experiences on multiple garry’s mod servers and minecraft servers. The longest admin role I had was for a few years on a garry's mod server however it was shut down due to lack of players. I have had developer experience as I was a developer on a garry’s mod server. I helped develop the different roles and tools that we would use on the server.
