Why should we revoke your punishment?
Hello, and thank you for giving me the chance to appeal.
I was banned on Monday 26th of July 2021 11:58:20 AM
by the console under the reason "[Anti-Cheat] Aimbot Detected (ST)" while using the scattergun. I want to sincerely clarify that I have never cheated intentionally, and I do not support cheating in any form. I’ve played TF2 for thousands of hours and have always prided myself on improving my skills through dedication and fair play.
Back then, my computer was very weak and often crashed during games. To try and reduce the performance issues, I downloaded what I believed to be a harmless smoke-removal mod from a popular YouTube channel. I did not realize it would cause any problems or be flagged as cheating. Only later did I notice strange behavior in the game files, which I did not understand at the time. It was never my intention to cheat, and I was shocked to find myself banned.
This ban was a result of a naive mistake, not malice. I was too scared and ashamed to speak up back then, and I left quietly, even though I regretted it every day.
This is my first and only ban. I deeply respect the TF2 community and the effort behind keeping the game clean and fair.
Also, I want to say that I'm not fluent in English, and it took me a lot of effort, time, and courage to write this appeal. I may not write perfectly, but I hope you can feel the honesty in my words. I genuinely want to clear up this misunderstanding and return to the game and servers I love, and especially to be able to play again with my old friends.
Even if this appeal is not accepted, I’m grateful just to finally speak the truth. But I truly hope for your understanding, and for a second chance. Thank you very much for reading this.
