Well, im someone who loves to use the Kunai in x10 and so, i can tell you the best ways to kill/annoy Kunai users
- Run Stock Flamethrower and airblast him 24/7 into a corner
- Get a friend with a sun on a stick, lit the spy on fire and the stick 2-hits him (doing 1155 DMG to burning targets)
- Use Stock Knife... aka the Facestabber

I like that suggestion with the flamethrower + sun on a stick but there is also the problem of dead ringers and ganging up which potentially ruins the whole thing.

Also that one requires good communication which is not always available

tbh, it snot that hard... Just use Scorch Shot, it hits across the map so spam it while he is dead ringing as well

I think i am convinced.

Also it should be less of a problem seeing as how popular pyros are in 10X.

I mean i still think the kunai is somewhat unfair but i should handle them better now with your advice.

Exactly, any simple stockk pyro can take me out ... If they can corner me...

Or simply go and use The Direct Hit. ~900 DMG a shot, if you can land them of course. But as The Direct Hit is one of my most used weapons, this is isn't an issue for me.

Yeah, there is quite a few different ways to deal with a kunai spy.

Stock knife spam..

Scorch shot + Stock flamethrower airblast/primary..

Direct hit as lulboy said..

Uuhh.. If you can keep track of them, the splendid screen could work too (persuader makes this alot more effective)

I've used the Kunai alot before on 10x.

Sometimes I go on living for QUITE a while.

Sometimes, I don't live at all. I get pummeled, and almost never get a backstab.

It just depends on who's using it, and who's fighting it, and how good those people are at fighting with/against the kunai,

Kunais are fairly easy to deal with tbh.

If your team is up for a coordinated attack, then the Scorch Shot and Sun-on-a-Stick are easily the most effective weps to deal with a Kunai.

If you're going for him yourself, then obviously the stock knife is the best option. Personally, I like using the Scorch Shot to set him on fire, so I can see him, then going for him with the Back Scratcher.

There's no sense in getting rid of the Kunai altogether, because that would take away the satisfaction of killing one. Besides, I'm pretty sure every class has at least one OP loadout on x10. Ever used the Black Box and sat near an enemy's sentry? You get about the same health from those sentries as the Kunai gets from a backstab, providing you're smart about it and last long enough.
