Have you managed servers previously? Yes

Which servers have you previously managed?
(None of your servers. I took this as 'Have you managed any of OUR servers previously. See 'Is there any other information you would like us to know about?' for previous staff experience.' I apologize for any inconvenience

On what servers do you usually play on and which one would you like to moderate?
I always go on the Los Angeles Jailbreak server at least once a day, usually for hours at a time. I like the concept of Jailbreak as a whole and I am willing to monitor all jailbreak servers, however, the location of the other jailbreak servers has led to connection issues when I try to join them. This is why I'd prefer to stay on the LA Jailbreak server when it comes to moderation purposes, to prevent me from timing out or anything of the sort. Though I will respond to any order or request given to me by higherups as best as I can, like how police officers will go into drug- and gun-ridden areas to make arrests or prevent crimes, knowing how dangerous it is.

Why would you like to become a moderator?
Due to the frequency of my playtime on this Jailbreak server, I notice a LOT of favoritism, pardoning, free-kill, overtalking, et cetera. I believe that having staff presence more constantly in the dark hours of the night (for me at the very least) would certainly deter rulebreakers and also help clarify rules a lot better, as I've noticed that many times, round time is chewed up by a warden or blue trying to explain that 'It wasn't free-kill!', As well as reds barking up their throat with the 'SLAY YOURSELF SLAY YOURSELF SLAY YOURSELF' messages in-game chat. Then players say 'Hurry up, there are only 4 minutes left!' I think a quick /csay message would diffuse the situation rather quickly and allow for more playtime.

Do you know and have spoken to any of the current staff members? Yes

Please let us know the names of staff members you have spoken to or know
Tax Fraud: Have played with multiple times, would call him a friend.

Herald11, Paragon, Jampoint, Broken: Have spoken to more regarding issues with the servers and just general questions, less of actual 'conversations.' Would say the relationships are neutral as of now. Have not had contact with any other staff members that I know of.

When are you usually available to play?
I work afternoons, usually the longest I work is 2-10 PM (Eastern Standard Time), however it IS summer which means I do have days off and short shifts sometimes. I don't have a fixed work schedule per se, but I do know that at the very least on work days, I could be on 10:30PM- 4 AM. If I am off and have no plans, I can guarantee at least 3 PM-4AM: not necessarily of constant surveillance, but rather like a police officer. I'd be off duty, and I'd play jailbreak as my 'patrol' whenever I can, but I will also respond to 'calls' (reports.) Sorry, I watch a lot of Jeff Favignano.

Please give us your ideal way of punishing players, specific to the server you want to moderate
To make it simple, I follow a 2 strike policy for most rule breakings: Warning 1, Final Warning, then Punishment. Any game-chat related rulebreaking would be followed by a gag (after warnings,) any voice-chat related rulebreaking would be followed by a mute (after warnings,) any gameplay offenses would be followed by a spray-ban (if porn/lewd spray) or teamban (if the situation calls for it.)

I'm sure times for these punishments would be in some sort of staff handbook, but I'll list mine here just in case you want to see them. The format is laid out to list the next punishment to the player if still breaking the rule after the previous punishment has been issued. They obviously are not all issued at the same time. For example- If someone spams chat they get a maximum of 2 warnings, then they get a 30-minute gag/mute. If still spamming after that 30-minute gag/mute is up, they are then given a 1-hour gag/mute. If STILL spamming after its up, they get a 3-hour mute, and so on and so forth for all rules. I recognize that these punishments are probably a little too lenient. For most rulebreakers, I'd try to use common sense- If it's been around a week or more since the last punishment or warning, then the increasing-severity-scale resets back down to the first warning.
Also, all warnings would be given in /csay (Big, white text in the top middle of the screen) or in voice

(General Rules)

Racism/Defamatory Remarks/Homophobia: Warn, 1 Hour, 3hours, 1 day, Permanent (mute or gag, depending on the medium (chat or voice.)

Toxicity: Warn, Warn again, 30 minutes, 1 hour, 3 hours, 1 day, permanent (mute or gag, depending on the medium.)

Spam: Warn, Warn again, 30 minutes, 1 hour, 3 hours, 1 day, permanent (mute or gag, depending on the medium.)

Pornographic Sprays: Remove spray + warn, spray ban

(JB-Specific Rules)
No Microphone: Ask if they have a mic- if not then teamban until they receive one, then they demonstrate that they can use one.

Bad Microphone: Warn to get off of blue, if noncompliant then teamban until they find a way to fix the mic or get a new one.

Overtalking Admin during mic check: Warning, Final warning, 30 minute mute, 1 hour mute, 3 hour mute, 1 day mute, Perm Mute

Overtalking Warden: Usually solved on its own by the players. If not then Warn, Warn again, 30 minute mute, 1 hour mute, 3 hour mute, 1 day mute, Perm Mute.

Armory Camping: Usually solved on its own by the players, either through vote-slay, vote-team ban, or the person dying in-game. If not then Warn to slay self, Slay, Teamban for 1 day, 2 days, 3 days, Perm teamban.

Baiting: Usually solved on its own by the players, either through vote-slay, vote-team ban, or the person dying in-game. If not then Warn to slay self, Slay, teamban for 1 day, 2 days, 3 days, Perm teamban.

Ghosting: Warn, 30 minutes, 1 hour, 3 hours, 1 day, Permanent (mute or gag, depending on the medium.)

Consistent False Accusations, aka 'FREEKILL FREEKILL FREEKILL': Warn, 30 minutes, 1 hour, 3 hours, 1 day, permanent (mute or gag, depending on the medium.)

Sticky Traps: Warn, (If they do not detonate the bombs safely) Slay, Slay, Tempban for 1 day.

(RED TEAM RULES):

The following rules, if broken, will make the red in question kos. Is there any other information you would like us to know about?
The fun part, staff experience!

1. I'm currently an inactive staff member on TF2SwapShop, however, I applied to Swapshop at (around this time last year actually, I really didn't notice that.) I was accepted around my birthday last year (August 16, 2018) and have been active until a month or two ago, since SwapShop hasn't really done much to entice me to stay as staff there (in my eyes.) My training process went much faster than the standard month, as I am very fast to learn. Except with math. Never was that good at math.

2. A LONG while ago, I was staff on another jailbreak server by the name of... Grem-Co TF2? All I know is that the owner's nickname was Gremulock, and I got a lot of photographic memories of the maps played there, which are embedded in my mind now. Don't know if that matters, but a lot of the maps in that server's rotation were the same as the ones in Blackwonder's rotation. It was also my first jailbreak server. Call me a good staff member or call him an iffy owner I'm not sure, but I know I was accepted as staff very quickly.

3. On the Discord server part of it, I currently run (technically I'm 2nd-in-command) an SCP-Themed roleplay server. Originally I took my time with building it, making it a couple of days of initial development, Recently (about a week ago), the server was fine, but at 2 AM two admins decided to trash it. Everything was Doug-Dimma-deleted. They also banned a lot of members- we had around 70 and were left with about 10 after their spree. So what did I do? The wise thing? Definitely not, I stayed up till 5 AM rebuilding the server after banning those two admins (3 hours of work) and unbanning anyone that needed to be unbanned (hey, they helped with our pornbot problem via the banning spree) because I do NOT leave anything half-assed or destroyed. There's always something to do, so I'll do it. If it's messing up my left wrist to rebuild a server that I took pride in creating (the owner tasked me with creating it originally), then so be it.

((I WILL SEND AN INVITE LINK TO THAT SERVER AS WELL AS AUDIT LOG HISTORY SHOULD ANY OF THOSE BE REQUESTED AS PROOF.))

What's the point of me telling you this? I tell you that story in hopes that you will recognize my work ethic and dedication to something that I care about. If this server gets crashed by bad admins at 2 AM and everything is deleted, call me. I more than know my way around Discord.

I'm very skilled in sourcebans, as we had to consistently upload evidence for bans to sourcebans.

Lastly, I did not want to shoot too high originally, so I applied for Moderator instead of Administrator. Looking at the Administrator application through a new tab, however, I see that it's virtually the same. To save my fingers, wrists, and hands in general, please prioritize this as an Administrator application so I do not have to rewrite it. If I'm not fit to become Administrator in any way, then take this as a Moderator application second. And if I'm not fit for moderator in any way, notify me of the rejection when you can, please.

Separately, due to my lack of experience on the discord server or forums (I just signed up for forums to submit this application and have been on the Discord server for a while now, but I haven't really talked much except to report rulebreakers or request help) I don't expect to be promoted to any staff position, to be honest. I recognize those as my 'flaws' in this application and that those can only change with time.

Now, there is a thunderstorm outside and I do NOT want my application deleted by a power surge so I'm submitting this quickly. Message me on Discord at Lox#3162 for questions.

Changelog:
1. Fine-tuned some grammar issues
2. Added the ladder of each rulebreak I could find
3. Fine-tuned some more grammar issues
4. Added Changelog (All credit to Tax Fraud)
5. Fixed glitch where emojis appear

Your chatlogs are mostly fine, nothing prohibitively bad.

Your punishments are a little odd, but in a DM conversation, you said that was a response to reviewing other apps where comments of over"leniency" were used. So you were compensating for that. So long as you understand we would have different expectations, and you respect that, I dont see a problem there.

I was able to find your information on swapshop, as you said. I did not find anything on grem-co aside from a steam group of 100 people. Looks like it's a small community that never took off.

Thanks for the response and yes, I knew I wouldn't get exact times for punishments correct because of their variety between servers and the lack of knowledge members have regarding it. I understand and would follow the 'ladder' for those punishments.

And yes, GremCo never really took off though I was technically staff on it, so technically it gave me experience. Won't say it was too much or good experience, but still experience.

Glad for you, dude. As another guy who p much only plays on the LA Jailbreak server, I'm looking forward to seeing you and playing with ya.

I'm also the Scout who killed himself to spare you in cell wars, which is like, our only interaction that I remember.

And I killed myself later in the round because you did that, lol
