Completed A Suggestion to better the ingame rules of VSH/FF2

So from playing around on the server iv ran into problems where people are lazy and refuse to read the rules for the mode here on the forums or they just assume from the ingame rules or listen to the donors, so im just gonna post the already set rules here with under text or whatever its called with a 4th rule to solve the doner problem me and several others have been having so here goes!

1. No Camping.
"Do not camp as the boss and do not camp out the reach of the boss, the only exception is sniper and engineer. Capping the point as Blu or Red does not count as camping."

2. No Delaying The Round.
"Do not camp or hide to delay the round, its no fun for anyone to wait and ruins the fun for everyone. Cap the point if the round is being delayed that is why the CP is there."

3. No Being Friendly.
"Do not be friendly as the boss or red. This delays the game and defeats the point of the game mode."

4. All rules stated above apply to both teams. Not just to the boss.

Welp there they are, hopefully they will get implemented later.

Some better wording will probably be needed. For example, in rule one, do you mean only engineers and snipers are allowed to camp, or are they allowed to camp where the Hale cannot get to them?

You have to be careful with the descriptions, otherwise people will try to lawyer their way out of punishments and complain when they get in trouble.

I do like the addition of "Cap the point if the round is being delayed" because more often than not, even if the round is being delayed, somebody will say "NOOB CAPPING."

I think most of the original descriptions are fine, they say everything that needs to be said in the simplest way possible, but I definitely like the addition of "cap the point if the round is being delayed."

Yeah, some donors iv talked to say that capping the point counts as camping which is bull so maybe just adding that rule will help

When this happens you should start a demo and if the donator dares to kick you or such for it then you can report them for donor abuse.

some maps in the rotation were most likely sugested by donors not to have cp's
but capping the point is an option if there are deadringer spies, scunts or rocketjumping soldiers the kind that rocketjump out of reach or just camp somewhere

Just wanted to point out that this is more or less the problem of those who suggest bosses wich don't have "viable" movement abilities, you should suggest removal of such bosses and/or maps if they favor for example the snipers climbing etc.

Also, as the VSH veteran I'd call myself, I do not think that camping should be limited to sniper and engineer and they should not be given any special treatment.
The problem in VSH is that there are map-class combinations wich somewhat rely on camping (crit soldier near levitation, demo in room wich obstacles) wich really makes, especially the more unexperienced, unconfortable in areas uncomfortable for their playstyle, not even talking about those who are new to the game/mode and can barely get something done straying with the engineer's protective lvl 3 sentry.
Also can you not just allow sniper and engis to camp all day long due to their class pick, I know it sounds somewhat disturbing but there are enough cases in them just camping but not the way you would expect them to (e. engi with sentry in prefered spot, sniper on map vantage point...) but rather stray of, wasting a class slot.

That said the 1st rule could look like "No excessive camping as the Boss. Reds may be allowed to camp if they are required to do so, but by possibility they should always try to hunt the Hale."
This allows the boss to camp short intervals like when the scout hunts him, he hides behind a doorway entrance and surprises him, without having a Donor kicking him for camping.

Otherwise I agree, mayby you could implement the "No point farming" back to the 3rd rule as some do not see it implied by the "no teaming" but that's all, hope to see you getting this trough!
