1. What's the map's name?

2. What's so good about that map that you want us to add it?

3. Give us a few screenshots about the map so we can see how it looks like.

4. What game mode is that map for?

5. Give us the link to download that map.

If there is a map that you know that there is an updated version of it, you can give us the link to the map and we will try and add it to the servers rotations. But follow these instructions:

1. what's the map name?

2. what's the updated version of the map's name?

3. tell us what's new in that new version of the map. (if needed)

4. What's the game mode?

5. Give us the link to the updated version of that map.

FIXER
If there is a map that is actually a really good/decent map, but it has a really big flaw(s) in it, that the players can exploit it easily or play in an unfair way against the hale, or the opposite, and you want this map's big flaw to be fixed or you think it could be easily fixed, follow these instructions.

1. what's the map name?

2. What's the part or big flaw does this map has? and how does it affect the gameplay? and how do you suggest us to fix it? (You must show screenshots or a demo of the "area or place" that you think has an issue in the map)

3. is there is an updated version of the map? (if so, give us the link)

4. what game mode is that?

5. give us a way to contact the creator of this map so we can ask him if we can edit it to fix this flaw or will he do it him self. (it would be even better if you contacted the creator and asked him yourself and waited for his response, so it can be easier for us)

6. tell us any more info that you think we need to know.

So i thought of this idea because there are really annoying or shitty maps that are in the servers rotations.
and thus it should be removed.
As well as keeping the maps up-to-date so the players can enjoy our servers to the fullest.

try to follow this example:

REMOVAL
1. jail_italia_b1_tf2jail

2. Because it doesn't have minigames... okay it may have some but they are only 7... which is soooo damn small. considering that other maps have around 12 or even more.
As well as it lacks some CORE minigames, like sweeper, 9 squares, fallgame, deathrun and others more...
The only minigames that are in this map are " Theater, Obby, Disco, Pool, a luck minigame, soccer, and a Volleyball which doesn't even work in the first place.
The map is very poorly made, considering that other maps have the mariokart, 9 squares, fall game, sweeper(which is almost in every map), Jump rope, deathrun, etc....

3. No, i have searched gamebanana and TF2maps, and even google... and i couldn't find an updated version of the map.

4.Jailbreak

I hope that this map can be removed as soon as possible.

3. Freerun Button, first easter egg area is more spoopy, The barrel area after the vent shaft is a lot more detailed now, more spotlights for visuals

I have to say, absolutely stunning map. I'm currently updating all servers to have the new version with the map. Thank you very much for making it! It's absolutely incredible

UPDATER again, i think i'm making benedevil mad with all those updates, but the map is really broken and needs updates

  • More exits to and from spawn
  • There is now a Glass wall in the middle area between spawns, and a Glass door in the right side exit to prevent spawn camping. Which is a real problem in #9
  • There is now a extra room below the main 'Kill the Idles' room
  • There is no teleport from the skybox to spawn now, so you can at least be safe in your own spawn without a w+m1 pyro suddenly appearing

In the process of adding your map along with the new map dr_cyberpunk. My internet isn't the fastest and I have to upload the map to 10 servers, so bare with me :p Thanks for the updates though! Really appreciated

i'm getting suggestions and bug reports from people
so if i would release a _finished version, and somebody found a nasty bug i couldn't fix it, because finished is finished

but i hope to make the finished version soon, so this thread doesnt become a spam trashcan

Games are always updated, even if they are finished.
Finished doesn't mean FINAL, Finished means that everything is implemented, bug reports will come in and you can fix them then...

2. Dubbed the worst map of jailbreak, it's really flat, unnecessarily big, badly optimized (frames dropping to 20 around Obby for no reason), no skybox to make the map atleast a little pretty,only 6 or 7 minigames, easter egg that causes huge delays, it is mistaken for jb_minecraft_night

It's not the worst just because you say it is, it has a skybox it's just dull, obby is fine so that is an issue on your end and the easter egg automatically kills anyone inside it after a whopping 30 seconds.

Usually the easter egg is never used, this wasn't really ever a problem for me, but the map just feels unnecessarily big. It needs an update of some kind, there's just too much wasted space. I understand the appeal of a big disco, but making it bigger than the entire cell area? Plus all of the empty grass in which minigames could be just results in a lot of walking. Usually, all that wardens will and can do first, is stairway, minefield, obby, sweeper, or dr, very generic minigames. I understand that those are at least a variety, but those are present on almost every map and these are almost all of the games. Furthermore, the games aren't even that difficult, and/or short or buggy. In the deathrun, there's a bug that can trap reds for the rest of the round on the water trap. In obby, if two people jump on each of the first platforms, it makes obby unable to be completed. Take hop for example, other than the burgerking parking lot, there is not much wasted space, everything packed in with minigames, some new and interesting.

I think it shouldn't be removed, but someone definitely needs to update it.

I've heard other people say that it's the worst map, not just my opinion. Can't argue with the rest of your points tho, i guess my config was blocking the skybox

For me it is the best map of em all (I like the stairway :D )... But yeah, I haven't been online in a while.
I still strongly disagree with removing it, as there is honestly nothing wrong with it.

2. Why should we remove it?
It is not suited for vsh. It is a large, boring open map with endless hiding positions, also unlike "good" large maps wich are open like dust_showdown this has many large rooms and is split in many parts. Nobody really enjoys it exept some randoms practicing sentry jumps. For this map I can say for sure that from countless rounds I have played on it only 1 time it did not end due to timeout, wich is due to it encouraging camping, hiding and even getting lost (like seriously, why does that even exist????).

Versus Saxton Hale (mayby Freak Fortress 2 also)

Ok, this page might be spammed with updates for this map but I recently playtested it a few times with Buster and i hopefully fixed all the missing textures, texture displacements, and other bugs
mapping is harder and more annoying than I thought
