Why should we unban you?
Although I do understand that performing a mass freekill is DEFINITELY within the red zone of bannable material, I apologized within the server prior to leaving. I decided to leave to not cause any other issues nor disrupt anyone else's enjoyment within the server. It was completely my fault, and i'm accepting that. I opted to use my wireless mouse, which had various issues with it mixing up right or left clicks, or it just performs any actions that right or left click perform even while scrolling. When I was scrolling, the mouse perceived it as a right click, which initiates the cow mangler charged shot. I tried to move away just before but the mouse wouldn't respond. I personally find an entire week to be extreme, and you could ask alot of people that main the server: I barely, if never, have broken the rules. This was a single, very bad accident, due to my personal indolent behavior. I was curious thus, if the ban can be minimized, or, completely taken away (although I do doubt the latter).

they ask who banned you they didnt ask for you steamid right there

You freekilled ten people, then left the server to "not disrupt anyone else's enjoyment". Definitely not any other reason woah nuh-uh
A week is fair imo because even if you haven't broken rules before the incident, being a golden boy doesn't mean you get a Get-out-of-Jail Free Card.

Except that is legitimately true. If no one else would take action and my mouse still had issues, what would happen if a scenario more or less the same were to happen again? It would disrupt the flow and fun of the server.

I also didn't imply that being a 'golden boy' gets me a free pass.

Me being the one to report this i'm going to share my opinion. I was warden and I ordered everyone to get on my marker, and so everyone does that. Next you standing next to them aiming at the stack starts charging your cow mangler and I specifically say over voice that you'd better aim away. You shoot the stack and disconnect but not before I grab your steam id. How you have a defense for this is beyond me but as far as i'm concerned a week is perfectly fair punishment. Furthermore whether your mouse broke or not isn't a legitimate excuse for mass freekilling and you being a regular should know that disconnecting after a mass freekill looks pretty shady which is why i'm holding to my opinion that you freekilled maliciously and hence should remain punished.

I tried aiming away from the stack, but as said in the opening post my mouse wasnt responsive and I told everyone their to move away. After they didnt, I apologized and subsequently left. I never intendeded to do the actions purposefully.

Your best defense is your 6 months on the server...And somehow, not a single ban. Just a few vote mutes. But I want to affirm a thing or two or 3

1. It's pretty common for an initial mass freekiller to automatically earn a week ban.

2. While you're not one of the few people I really to while in JB, I've been on the server a lot with you, and have never seen you freekill to my recollection.

3. Since it was a screenshot and not a demo, we don't have the whole objective story, and even if an admin sees things, we always prefer a demo of some sort. But it seems no one has one which indicates to me that you were not running around being a jerk, or someone would have been recording. That leads me to think it truly was some equipment malfunction. I personally stopped gaming with a wireless mouse out of similar concerns. It would sometime lag like crazy and I couldn't trust it.

It was the only thing I was able to find, which i'm fairly certain you have seen by now.

It's up to @ProvidedTimmy anyway. I already voiced my opinion on the matter.

Hey, sorry just got home from work, anyways, I just had a conversation with Vik himself, and considering that he took time to join discord and make a ban appeal, also seeing him on the server quite often with only minimal conflict, I've decided to remove the ban as no one has come through with anymore sort of evidence than Jim's screenshot, but he has like a probation, meaning if he actually gets caught getting doing it, its going to end up in a serious ban. Thank you for the ban appeal.
