Have you managed servers previously? No
On what servers do you usually play on, and which servers would you like to moderate?
Usually Play: BLW's US Super Zombie Fortress
Moderation: BLW Super Zombie Fortress Servers
Why would you like to become a moderator?
As of now, Blackwonder's revision of Super Zombie Fortress has been in a state of limbo, with back and forth "tug-of-war" like changes that have pushed BLW's SZF server in a questionable and criticizable state.
Many of the community's suggestions in the Discord have mostly gone unnoticed or have been in fact, ignored, in favor of a mindless revision of the gamemode, going from an "arcadey" style to a more frustrating, challenging, and competitive experience that has overtime, gotten rid of the "laid-back" gameplay that had been with the gamemode prior to recent changes. Survivors get left behind, the "DamageScale" makes gameplay imbalanced in certain occasions when it comes to fights, and changes to the Special Infected have been rather unfair, boring, or unenjoyable.
For the gist, instead of having usual, stress-relieving gameplay for Super Zombie Fortress, most changes have unfortunately made it into a more unbalanced, wacky, and a spaghetti mess of code from what people are saying, especially devs/admins like Jashhh himself.
The code for the gamemode is not for public view, since some people out there are willing to steal it and make use of it for themselves.
I'm willing to stand up for the community and see if I can put my Mapping and Coding skills to good use for this gamemode. Start off by applying "band-aid" fixes and then going from there to help enhance things. And most importantly, I'm looking forward to receiving feedback, criticism, and suggestions from the community themselves to see if changes should be applied, modified, or even repealed.
I have some basic experience with Squirrel, as seen in my VScript for szf_blackmesa which implements Chat Sounds, Chat Commands, etc.,
I'm a well experienced Hammer Editor Mapper for at least 2 years (since I was 16), seen in szf_blackmesa:
https://gamebanana.com/mods/446598
and I've also been editing and polishing a few old maps like szf_legoplaza, szf_mako_reactor, etc.
and while I'm still learning SourcePawn, I can make simple changes going off of default code and adjusting from there, learning along the way as I go; but from time to time, I teach myself through tutorials online so I can at least improve.
Moderation of players on the other hand is also a little minimal on Super Zombie Fortress, having to usually rely on Donors to take action against rule-breaking players,
so, I'll be willing to help out in case things happen again.
Do you know or have spoken to any of the current staff members? Yes

How often do you play TF2?
Every Weekend or so, or even whenever I'm off, I usually get on to stress-relieve via TF2 with friends.
Please give us your ideal way of punishing players, specific to the servers you want to moderate
Super Zombie Fortress isn't home to many rule-breaking violators, but in the case of a situation occuring:
For most rules broken, Warnings will be issued at first for light violations,
but should the violator escalate or even repeat the situation, and/or if the rule broken (cheating, exploiting, advertisement, etc.) requires a penalty, they'll initially receive a punishment for a low amount of time.
Length of punishment will, however, increase if the issue reoccurs, in which I'll look into detail about the situation (how often it happened, if this person has a bad reputation, etc.) depending on the issue,
and mainly discuss with other moderators and admins about the justified sentence (mute, gag, kick, ban, and time).
For Super Zombie Fortress specifically in gameplay,
Survivors who deliberately ruin the experience for their teammates (rushing ahead and leaving others behind, refusing to help others and annoy them in the process, etc.) will either be teleported, slayed, or even kicked if they continue to grief others and force them to undergo a frustrating experience all for the violator(s)' own enjoyment and fun.
This issue has been a traditional problem for Super Zombie Fortress as it has driven players away from the server whenever one or more of their selfish teammates decides to ambitiously "get to the top", and I'm willing to help improve the community's experience and not sit and usually watch the server get mad at one single person.
Recordings (via OBS) and Screenshots will also be gathered for spammers, hateful speech/harassment, VC violators, and cheaters to help provide evidence for the punishment.
TFStats will also be used to help monitor messages in the server(s).
However, as long as others are fine with what one or more does, I'm okay with the community's feedback.
Is there any other information you would like us to know about?
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Anyways,
Blackwonder has been home to many of my Custom TF2 experiences with their gamemodes, servers, etc., but the one that stood out to me the most was Super Zombie Fortress.
Making several friends off of the server and helping to nudge it onto the right path has truly created memories I cannot forget. However, to see the gamemode diverge onto a messy path has made me question if things should go back to the way they were before major changes.
