Why should we revoke your punishment?
I believe that I have learned my lesson in terms of using offensive and inappropriate language on Blackwonder servers. Continuing to play JB while being gagged and muted has led me to realize that there really is no need/place for offensive languague. In the nearly two months that I have been silenced, I have actually befriended more people by putting any pre-conceived prejudices aside and actually getting to know them more. This has opened my eyes to the fact that although every player is different, that does not mean that they deserve to be treated poorly by myself or anyone else.
I believe that several staff members can attest to my commitment to not using offensive language. These staff members include bergenco, x9_raven and Deitific Presence. I have no desire to call people names, use offensive slurs, or any other hate speech that can ruin the gameplay experience for others. If you grant me the chance to show you, I can prove that I have the ability to be respectful and courteous to other players and staff members. Due to the reason I was gagged being my use of a homophobic slur, I felt it was only right to donate to an LGBT+ group. I will include proof of this donation. This is not a sarcastic donation, I do genuinely want to give back to the community which I offended with my language.
It is no excuse, but I am from an environment where use of offensive language is commonplace. I will continue to work hard to change my ways and be mindful of others when speaking.
