Doesn't seem to be an issue and the few times it is the dead rats are happy to jump at the chance to legally ghost the hiding red,

how about making it so people have to ghost (even if it's legal in this circumstance) to help the blus find the hiding spy, you just remove the cloak and dagger. all it requires to just edit code to add the cloak and dagger into the weapon blacklist. who cares if it's not an issue most of the time, all it requires is for one guy to equip one weapon and now he can easily delay.
After one guy does it, copy cats will do it next time they get a chance
Yes, but by the time someone ghosts, the spy moves. And open spaces make it almost impossible to merc them.

We're not globally disabling it anytime soon, don't get your hopes up on that one.
I can't think of an argument as to why the cloak and dagger is even needed in a game mode such as Jailbreak. All it is used for is to delay the round, which isn't fun when you're stuck in spectator for 3 minutes waiting for the spy who is hiding to finally get found, or for the round timer to end.

Because when it's used properly its the strongest spy watch for most LR's? If you're actually trying to kill people instead of just hiding it easily outclasses the other options, DR is worthless thanks to player counts and ammo packs are too sparse to make effective use of stock.
If people are intentionally, and repeatedly, stalling rounds with the Cloak and Dagger you may report them, otherwise there's a laundry list of more pressing and less drastic fixes needed for the LR's right now.

Sure, it can be useful in certain situations, but I've never had problems killing opponents during war day using just the stock cloak. You'll be surprised at how oblivious most players are to a spy decloaking behind them, and there is enough time in a fully filled stock watch to move quite a distance on the map. Aside from your own gameplay, the only times I've ever seen the Cloak and Dagger used is to simply hide in some random corner of the map.
The players can be reported for delaying, but why keep an item that nearly all players who use it don't use for its intended purpose? It's like having a tool in a toolbox that nobody ever uses for its intended function. Instead of reporting them for misusing the tool, a simpler option would be to remove it altogether.

yeah but nobody uses the c&d to kill, they just hide with it
Besides, even if someone uses the c&d to kill, on a big map like alkatraz or bootcamp, it could take minutes for a guard to come close to where you are. And with 1-2 guards surviving, it’s gonna take a long time before you can get a kill.
Just remove it, most people who pick spy in warday are either
-people who accidentally picked spy
-aren’t using the c&d
-or using the c&d to delay
the people who delay with the c&d on warday outnumber the people who use the c&d to kill on warday. Nobody likes a delayer.

Ive been enjoying it recently actually.. i love sitting in spec gazing at the otherteam shoot hoplessly at what they know is just out of reach ehehehe how i pity them... i am dead... release me from the shakles of round delay...
