Completed Remove rebel status for disguised spies?

So basically I wanted to suggest removing the rebel status for spies that are disguised, a reason is backstabbing a blu with the eternal reward or the wanga prick and gaining their disguise. Maybe using this disguise to act as a blu is fun and useful for reds but the spies are easily caught due to the rebel status. Maybe remove this status for spies to run around in the midst of blus. I believe that this may be more “fun” in a way.

Okay, I know I have no say in this but let me clarify some things. If I am not wrong, they're not even supposed to be allowed to disguise in the first place. And that would literally break the entire point of having Jailbreak since Jailbreak is literally about, cops and prisoners. Not cops, disguised prisoners and prisoners.

By then it would be completely considered as "trolling" and "griefing".

Blus can’t disguise as reads to trick them or anything.

I probably did not understand the rules completely. But what I know so far is the fact that you're not even allowed to disguise in the first place, though you may be right about the fact that Blus are the ones that are not allowed to disguise and not Red. We'll just have to see what the admins say.

Blues can't disguise, but reds can (from eternal reward).

Eternal reward is already a silent kill, and considering it would be ghosting to say that the red is disguised, the rebel glow should still be there to give the blues some help. If they want to play the long game, they can just wait until rebel status is automatically removed after some time, before going back to other blues, if they truly want to trick them.

Tl;dr I think it's fine as is

I really don't see the harm of this. If you go backstab a BLU in front of a bunch of other blus you're pretty much throwing your life away. Following the same line of thought, BLUs are not allowed to wander unless they are specifically told to do so, so odds are you will not be coming across a lone BLU to steal the identity of.

All these things considered, I don't think not having the rebel status appear as long as you're disguised will really hurt much. Worst case scenario if it becomes totally overpowered (which I can almost guarantee is not going to happen) it can just be removed.

I say we just remove the "player x has rebelled" in chat for Wanka prick backstabs but leave the red glow. This way, blues won't really have a reason to turn around since they won't know someone has rebelled unless; A, the blue sees it and kills the red so it doesn't matter or; B, the blue ends up turning around by chance anyway and the blue would either bump the spy (revealing him), the spy will run away (revealing he's a spy) or the blue will instinctively spycheck his teammate (revealing him) , all of which would be the same regardless of the red glow or not. The only other scenario is where the blue doesn't turn around, in which case the spy will just kill him as well or continue about his buisness until either A or B happen.

Main Idea...

Remove "Player X has rebelled" in chat
Keep red rebel glow

There is no other way for the blus to know that the player backstabbed and disguised as someone since the only way for the red to disguise is the Your Eternal Reward in which "silences kills", basically not allowing the enemies to see that you have killed and/or backstabbed someone.

I'd say do it vice versa. A red glow is very noticable, much more than some text in the chat box. A BLU could be neglectful and not check chat to see that a teammate has been killed, but nobody will miss a red glow eminating from somebody on BLU team. Might as well not change anything at all if you keep the glow.

I was thinking remove the chat and the kill feed but keep the glow. However if possible make the glow for spies a little less noticable(less brighter less bigger)

Might as well not change it then, because after the first few times somebody gets fooled by a spy everybody will know to look for a duller red glow. It's like how disguises now don't serve much purpose other than to sap sentries because everybody knows what a spy looks like, how they act, etc.

Ummm, the wanga prick and the YER already don't display in the killfeed for the enemy team.
At least, that was the case last time I played.
